Tioneb wasn't actually Judging but more of a Referee making sure none of them doing any illegal tracks that might have been pre-recorded. You will notice he has a monitor that has live footage of the closeup on each competitors device.
Dang, that is such a good idea!I know there has been skepticism in the past about what's been cheating or not and people have unfortunately missed opportunities (INKIE) because of it. So glad they introduced this for 2023. Thanks for the comment and info @ginja9722!!!
Bizkit still uses a MK1 and FYI This year , second devices are not allowed in loopstation battles . Theres a seperate category for that called the Producer and in that its not even mandatory to use a loopstation . You could use other devices but still the sounds should originate from beatboxing . I'm waiting for the producer clips man they are so hype , especially kba round 2 .
Not only did Mirsa run out of time he had 2 false stats before the 1st round. People say the lights were too bright (he never said it just kinda did a hand gesture) and Scott Jackson guessed it was too bright. Then he tried to start again, messed up and blamed the lights actually this time. That's why he was nervous and started slow. No one else had an issue except for either Friidon or Lennard during their showcase which was the previous day.
Which is honestly hilarious because the saying for when somebody chokes on stage is "the lights were too bright" because it's the oldest excuse in the book😂
And two quickly summarixe the beef. Mirsa had talked about bizkit on discord, talking about he didnt understand the hype of bizkit, as he just does loud noisea and high pitched sounds and so on. (Paraphrasing as i wasnt there, but only got it retold) and at this point, botf of them knew they had to face eachother at gbb and had for some time, so mirsa just put fuel on bizkits fire for this battle by doing that
@@willreacts_official yeah, of there is one looper i didnt want to put fuel on his fire it would be bizkit. Hes already murdering without any personal vendetta, idk why u would want to put a target on your back when u know what hes able to 😂
The rounds this year was 3-3.30 minutes, so atleast 3 minutes and up to 3.40 woth the 10 extra seconds, it was to create more freedom for the artist in terms of time. And btw, mirsa had problems in first round becayse of the lights on stage, as he was the first looper om stage at all. He couldnt see his buttons properly and thats why from bizkit first round nd after, its different stage light. (Its also speculated if he sctually had problems, or he said it because of his false starts he did twice beforr actually starting. Nobody in the producer category complained about the lights, so thats up for speculation)
Ahhh good to know, I saw Robin say something about the lights so it clicked when I saw him vs Dice that there were some lighting problems but it wasn’t till after I saw Bizkit vs Mira that I realized that. Thanks for the comment and info!!!
It's incredible watching the evolution of beatbox over the years, especially with looping. It's a night and day difference between 2023 and even just 2019. I'm staggered by how complex and high level it's become.
@@willreacts_officialIts more like an extension of the mk2. You cant create any sounds with it, only enhance whatever you put in the mk2. It suits dices style but for many others its not really useful
If I'm not mistaking, 808Banon didn't even make the competition. He didn't qualify for the GBB based on the grading system they used this year. There's a lot of people that feel he probably should have gone through tho (myself included). I'd actually love to see you react to them. They're both on his channel. SPOILER FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS BELOW: He then went on to win the World Championships becoming the current Loopstation World Champion. Ironically enough, he beat Bizkit in the 1/4 finals of that tournament.
Thank you so much for the comment and info @Helldog6!!! I would love to check these out. I think I’ll do what @NexX35 suggested and check those out after the battles as I’ve noticed a lot of beatboxers are performing their wildcards in either their elimination or first battle. And that is wild that the situation was reversed at World Champs!!!
@Frozty_ML he wasn't planning on attending the competition at all he was on vacation and then just attended for fun He had no preparation at all if he had been prepared this battle and competition might have looked different
I think we all learned a valuable lesson here... you know how you arent supposed to challenge eminem to a rap battle... cause... well... reasons.... lets all respect bizkit, cause he'll fucking embarrass you
