A point in favor of Sean's death is this is a story about raising Daniel and mentor figures are often killed for the succession of the student. Because LiS2 is built around teaching Daniel that sets up the story to end on Sean having to take the backseat in some form in the end for Daniel to apply what lessons were put into him. Does it mean he has to die? No, but it increases the probability.

If they kill off sean,especially after we've played the game as him,that would be a huge shocker,I don't think The developers would have the balls to kill off the main protagonist.

I can not accept any situation where Sean or Daniel die in the next and final episode. I know it's not up to me, but if it was they would not die. I am hoping for nothing but a happy ending to the wolf brothers story as they both have gone through enough in my opinion. I don't know how it will affect me if one of the brothers die in whatever manor, by accident or sacrifice. A line from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan says "how we face death is at least as important as how we face life" In Life is Strange 1 the main story canon ending was to sacrifice Chloe as hard as that choice was many players including myself made that choice, but many players to this day did not and can not do that to Chloe. I do not know if i'm strong enough to make the same choice for Sean or Daniel simply because they are kids, it's makes it much harder of a choice this time round. Fictional as they may be, Sean and Daniel are my brothers and i will fight for them, always...

But it could be interesting if we could play as daniel,and get to use his powers

At this point, with all of these close calls, there is no way there is not a path in which Sean ends up dying. Awesome video!

I don't agree that Sean is necessarily prideful in his Puerto Lobos plan. He CAN be, depending on his dialogue choices, but he can also tell his grandparents or Lisbeth that he's willing to stick around. Unfortunately, he is always forced out of his potential residence by circumstances out of his control. You might even be right in that that is how the developers see it, since Daniel at the winter house asks "why do you always force us to run?" But it's not really backed up by the actual circumstances in the game. The winter house is running low on food and Daniel needs medicine and warmth to recover. The cops find him at his grandparents' house. The pot farm kicks them out because of Daniel's behavior, and it was only ever seasonal work so they'd have had to move on eventually anyway. Lisbeth refuses Sean even if he's moral, religious, and agrees to stay with Daniel in the community. Sean is always forced to go back to his default plan.

I have a theory, the game's final choice will be: A: Help Daniel get over the wall by sacrificing yourself B: Allow Daniel to levitate you over the wall. Do you save yourself, or someone who you've been guiding throughout the entire game.

oh yeah i thought the “of mice and men” reference was really interesting. maybe if the player made it so daniel didn’t listen to his brother: like if he killed lisabeth even when sean tells him not to, i feel like that might be a chance to kill him. i don’t know, though, i don’t think any player would ever choose that option, though! keep up the good work :)))

I really hope not! Sean is my favourite character and I at least want him to live to see 17 in the finale. I don't expect a happy ending. If there is one, I imagine it will be choice dependant. I want an ending that feels earned and makes everything that the brothers have been through worth it. It doesn't have to be a happy one necessarily. I don't believe getting to Mexico is the happy ending like Sean thinks but we'll see what DONTNOD has in mind. In general, I'm expecting more bittersweet endings than anything. Sean has committed his fair share of crimes by the end of Ep4 with or without player input. I think mitigating circumstances can be applied to most of his actions but not all of them. I agree that him losing an eye is enough of a consequence for any flaws Sean has presented. I think killing him off may be adding tragedy for the sake of it and that it may be a little too obvious. Overall, I'm not expecting the obvious ending in the finale. If there has to be a punishment yet to come then I think it may come down to the relationship you've created between Sean and Daniel more than anything. Will the pack stay together or not? How has this journey really changed them and is it for better or worse?

What if neither of them die? I'm not just saying that because their death/s would make me feel sad, but because I think there's much more that could happen than just death. The previous game LIS1 already had a main character death in the end. Having another one in the end of this game might feel a bit stale. Granted that depends on how it's done, but I kind of want the game to take a more creative approach to it's ending.

Ive watched about 3 min of the video and i am shocked. Not because of any specific theory or something like that but rather because i didnt think somebody would actually take this game serious enough to add their own theory and stuff. Thats due to obvious bugs like the walkietalkie clipping through seans hand even outside of the parts you play yourself, the awful facial animations of less important characters and the amount of useless filler in some episodes. i liked the first game even though it was a cringefest and the second one because it was even more hilarious. unfortunatly it seems that the developers dont care anymore so they just put out whatever comes to mind which results in stupid decision making outside if the players choice and a forced political agenda because that has to annoy players since they dont seem to know what being subtle even means. To me the story and characters as well as their motives are so forgetable that i cant even have fun playing this ironically. i am just dissapointed and i didnt think there were still actual fans out there. what is it that keeps you hooked? by the time the next episode is out i cant even remember wahts going on so please tell me how i can enjoy this.
