The Future of Life is Strange: Max and Chloe Sequel? 

I hope they bring the Diaz brothers back, similarly the way they brought Steph in True Colors. Life is Strange 2 always gets ignored like it doesn't exist and it's disappointing. I loved their story and in my opinion, it's the best lis game in the respects of feelings and consequences. I just miss Sean and Daniel :(

I hope Max and Chloe come back :( I miss them already so much! I just dont want them destroying it by making another version of Max and Chloe

I hope if they make a new life is strange game showing use what's happening to Sean and Daniel. I hope they bring these two characters back. I like to see these characters again showing use what is going on in there life.

I like max power that can change anything. I love the storyline Sean and Daniel are very emotional. I love the character of Alex, it's beautiful. Every life is strange series. I Will love it

Honestly I think Max and Chloe already had their story, and we even have a continuation of that in Life is Strange 2 (with even traces of them in David's trailer if you sacrificed Arcadia Bay), and that's setting aside the prequel Before the Storm, I think Life is Strange was compelling but nothing spoils a good story like a studio that doesn't know when to end it. I think I'd rather new stories, Life is Strange 2 was wrapped up nicely no matter which ending you ended up with there was an element of finality--it was my favourite LIfe is Strange game because of the bond between Sean and Daniel but it seems unlikley we'll get anything else and I don't think it's necessary. Same goes for True Colours, Alex leaves Haven to seek adventure or stay in Haven, the place that finally fulfils her need to belong somewhere, either way happy ending for her and she's satisfied, and that story had Wavelengths tho I haven't played it--I think from here it should be new fleshed-out characters with more unique powers, with Easter eggs from previous games and traces of different characters it's a nice touch but I think dragging one story on and milking it makes it go stale like what's happening with telltales the Walking Dead game and the comic series that the whole community feels just butchered the mc. I think LIS2 and LIS TC explored themes pretty well like racism and Alzheimer's I think that was well done and it'd be nice to see more exploration of less spoken themes in later games

I know some fans would rather keep the "anthology format" of the series, but personally I do not see why would a hypothetical Max and Chloe sequel would get in the way of new stories with new characters. I mean for Marvel Cinematic Universe, the production of Thor 4 did not mean that other projects such as Dr. Strange 2, WandaVision, Loki, Moon Knight, etc weren't going to happen. Fans can have both a Pricefield game as well as a completely brand new anthology game. What I'm more concerned about is how good will a hypothetical sequel will ultimately turn out to be. After finishing the licensed comic series, LiS 1 feels increasingly more like a lightning in a bottle that earned its place of being a sleeper hit back in 2015. A part of me feels doubtful we will ever recapture that same magic anytime soon. But I'd love to be proven wrong. Also, I'd be surprised if Dontnod wants to make another full fledged entry for LiS, considering that Tell Me Why proved they can do LiS-esque stories without needing the IP (overall quality of the game notwithstanding).

In my ideal world, there would be two well-known, distinct series under the Life is Strange umbrella: - One series with mainline Life is Strange games, each sufficiently different from each other (bold, ambitious, taking risks), and with each time new characters (with a good balance in terms of male-female, ages, backgrounds, and struggles) and exploring different themes. These should have relatively long development phases to strive for excellence/innovation, and marketing phases to build enough hype before release. - One series with prequel, sequel, midquel, sidequel (or even alternate reality/what-if) games involving familiar/beloved main or side characters from the mainline games to extend or deepen their story (like Chloe & Rachel in Before The Storm, or The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit). For example, Max & Chloe after the Save Chloe ending (LiS), Sean & Daniel in Puerto Lobos after the Blood Brothers ending (LiS2), or Chris/Captain Spirit & Daniel in Beaver Creek after the Redemption or Parting Ways endings (LiS2). These should help us through the long waiting periods between the mainline games and to keep the attention of the general audience for the Life is Strange brand. They can be relatively short/stand-alone, and do not necessarily/always have to be 5 long episodes or generally be very ambitious or ground-breaking (since that's where the main series is for). Back to the real world: personally, I don't think Dontnod is working on another Life is Strange game, but I hope to be proven wrong because I really liked both their LiS games, especially LiS2 (and I liked Tell Me Why and Twin Mirror as well). A game in a similar style as LiS could very well be possible though, but maybe they'll opt for something radically different instead to keep things fresh, who knows. In any case, I am very curious how many of the new upcoming projects will be new games/IPs, and how many of them are sequels to existing games. Let's hope we'll get more info on that soon!

Hell nope, please let Chloe rest inside her Arcadia Bay coffin beside her dad and KEEP BRINGING NEW CHARACTERS, new stories, new settings. LiS2 was amazing and the anthology format should keep going to new horizons.

I do believe we will get Life is Strange 4, Whether they decide to call it Life is Strange 4, or it’s another LIS with a subtitle is the question. I would love another Life is Strange made by Dontnod with new characters since i much prefer and like their Life is Strange so much more than Deck Nines Life is Strange. True Colors was honestly pretty meh, played it once and don’t think I’ll play it again tbh. Tell Me Why was even better than True Colors. I don’t want Max and Chloe back either, their story ended and bringing them back will make one ending canon and therefore ignore the fact both endings were made canon in LIS2 Episode 5

If square enix makes another life is strange I do believe they will since they own the game now I think they should bring every character back Sean and Daniel and Max and Alex I think that would be a good idea in a cut scene the new character could meet the other characters from the previous games kinda like how Sean met fin and Cassidy 🤔

I just finished true Colours. I can finally watch videos on the topic now. I didn’t want to purchase it new due to its high price cost. Thankfully I got it for $30 CAD New physically for the ps5.

if I’m honest, I don’t care about Chloe and max or life is strange 1, as I’ve never played the game or the prequel before the storm. My favourite was 2 with Sean and Daniel. Perfect game. I want to see those guys again in a new game embark on a new journey taking off from the ending you got in LIS2. Apart from the ending where Sean died, that can’t continue into a second game, but the other 3 can. Something of that nature would be cool too see

There's tons of stories I want to see. Most of all: An improved version of Lis1 -High school drama -good music everywhere -more intruding mystery -more opportunity to interact with side characters -more romance options (and at least one that's not white) -Choices that matter (both during gameplay and formal choices like in LIS2) Characterwise I'd love to see more of Rachel but other than that I want a complete new cast and setting.

I don't know if this will he an unpopular opinion but I Don't want another game with max and chole. I feel like there story has already been told and they all are in the comics and that. I love how they bring new ideas and powers and I think it make the game a bit stale if we had the rewind ability back

When I first saw the title, I immediately thought 'Wait... Did i actually find someone who's going to talk about the Life is Strange sequel comics?' Nope. Still looking. But those comics do say one thing: If there is going to be a fifth LiS game, it is NOT going to star Max and Chloe.

Dontnod could have pulled a Book of Boba Fett and gave us a Max and Chloe episode in between episodes of LIS2. Between episodes 4 and 5 specifically since the final episode is when we hear about them again. Where they could have crossed over in the flesh too.

I honestly don't believe Dontnod will ever touch LiS ever again, especially since they want to self publish now. I don't think I even want them to considering how much I disliked LiS 2 and Tell Me Why. LiS 1 and Vampyr were great games but Dontnod's quality kind of dropped off after them in my opinion.
