With this newest trailer for Sparking Zero revealing a decent amount of playable characters, who else could we hope to see next? I’d love to hear what everyone in general thinks about this highly anticipated game and if it will indeed surpass Budokai Tenkaichi 3! 🤔💭🐉🎮
Raging blast and burst limit were suppose to be the next gen continuation of the series of games like budoaki and tenkaichi probably up to third title but for some reason burst limit 2 was never made and then raging blast 2 never recovered or made rhe sales like tenkaich9 did so the company gave up compellty as dbz in 2010 was down financially because there was no new content
I wish that a new Budokai style game was going to be made at some point. I’d love a game with Super characters and of course more Dragon Ball movie villains!
If you saw Heroes, you’ll find it funny when future Trunks told future Gohan when he came to fight trunks for no reason “Gohan you know you can’t beat me with just one arm!”
I wouldnt be surprised if they did do DLC. They've done it for Xenoverse and FighterZ. It would be cool if they add different game modes. Like the galaxy story from RB2 and the "reach the highest" fighting mode.
I too would not be all that surprised if a decent majority of the roster is set aside as DLC after Sparking Zero launches. It’s just a part of how the gaming industry is nowadays. That aside a galaxy type of almost arcade mode like from Raging Blast 2 would be very interesting and one idea I’d be all for!
While Kakarot was my favorite way to relive the majority of the story from Dragon Ball Z, I honestly wouldn’t mind either way for a direct sequel to be made. Fingers crossed Sparking Zero does in fact end up being the ultimate Budokai Tenkaichi game!!
@brianmatter2723 I think in a lot of ways, Kakarot was a prototype for making Dragonball rpgs. If you look at the dlc, there are parts where the gameplay changes to fit the era like Post-Dragonball. I think Dragonball could definitely happen down the line, as well as Super.
@HatDog-bq2se It sucks at first until you earn new moves. A good amount of them are character-exclusive, but there are also too many that do the same moves. I think it's good for what it's trying to emulate. We just need more moves.
Futute Dragon Ball Arena Fighters? Maybe. But DBFZ is the gold standard for the standard fighting game. I hope both DB arena fighters and DB standard fighters can coexist because they appeal to different types of players.
I have no doubts that future Arena Fighters for Dragon Ball will be made as they are usually pretty fun and popular. I hope that if Sparking Zero succeeds it turns into either a new trilogy or series where a new title is released every three to five years with more advanced gameplay mechanics and brand new characters from other types of Dragon Ball media such as the manga, spinoff titles & other series that Akira Toriyama worked on that could potentially fit into a fighting game!
You know what anime deserves to have a proper arena fighter with a decent budget? Besides a real Bleach game in glorious high definition… a proper Inuyasha fighting game similar to say the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series!
Fingers crossed that local multiplayer will either be added into the game sometime before launch or shortly after as a completely free update to bring a lot of the skeptical veteran Tenkaichi players back to help Sparking Zero ascend and go even further beyond as the ultimate Dragon Ball title of this console generation!!
