It seems that The Ones Who Live is leading more and more to a fight between the Commonwealth and the CRM. So if this fight happens, who would/will win? Subscribe here: / @thewalkies #thewalkingdead
it has been lazy since the start of it all want to know why all the zombies left the Mexicans alone in America because somebody has to be cutting all that grass hahaha@@TheWalkies
However in those timeskips we also don't know how much Commonwealth troops have either improved and if they got more equipment then we realize. I'd be shocked but all we know they could have better training now, better weapons and even SAM sites. Thats big what ifs though.
@@haloshaw1626well in the last episode of the walking dead you see king Ezekiel as the new governor and mercer as his right hand man and Daryl mentions when talking to Carol that shes done a good job with that place so that implies that everyone at the Commonwealth will receive survival training from the group and lead by king Ezekiel I'm sure they will flourish. I trust that they'll be ready for a fight
The CRM originated from the Pennsylvania National Guard, so it makes sense that they'd have better armor, weapons, and training. The M4A1 rifle was also standard issue for the U.S. Military at the time (and still is today for the most part) while the AR-15 is a common civilian rifle.
CRM has 25,000 troops and maybe alot more... for a big city of over 200k Im betting in order to protect philly after all those years on all sides 30,000 or more troops.
@@cloud67899 Odd, I didn’t see any Commonwealth Apache, or Chinook helicopters. If they had those I’m willing to bet they had tanks, and/or other armour as well.
Something about the Commonwealth. Before the collapse Mercer was a Marine, and we know what the CRM did to the Marines in Operation Cobalt. If the CRM-Commonwealth war happens it will be interesting to see Mercer's conviction against the CRM
A bloody war both sides will lose half of numbers it would be cool if a Alexandria residents milita wearing a Commonwealth troopers armor with green camouflage with it would look badass on them
@@FOXCYBORGNINJA that would be crazy if they would work together slaughter walker variants then CRM and Commonwealth will make a truce betray their CRM general gets arrested locked up then a time jump we see CRM members transforming themselves wearing Commonwealth armor underneath with their CRM zipper jacket protect against walker bite
@@FOXCYBORGNINJA I see where this going at it'll be like Jurassic Park a huge ship container is speed fast in the ocean while Commonwealth vs CRM troopers are fighting each other in the beach of oceanside some oceanside residents wearing Commonwealth troopers armor with blue Camouflage during the shootout then the ship container from France speed up but Land on oceanside all sudden stronger walker variants escaping the container ship appearing biting both CRM and Commonwealth during gun battle war both sides have no choice to work together slaughter bunch of variants walkers together maybe theyll stop fighting call a truce oceanside war is officially over. while the others are still fighting
Military grade just means it’s good enough and cheap enough to be obtained in mass. Any mf that’s used military grade anything will tell ya it’s hardly ever better. M4 is just a m&p sport that has a full auto sear.
I don’t know what a commonwealth or a CRM is but looking at the clips of the Commonwealth guys just standing still, in the middle of a horde, tells me that the CRM is gonna whoop them.
Yeah dud like it's nott even a competition CRM wipes commonwealth because not only are they much more trained but they have much greater weapons with attack helicopters and fkin missiles
With Pamela imprisoned on the season 11 finale, and now with Eziekel in charge along with Mercer at the commonwealth, odds are that they might stand a chance to hold back an attack by the CRM. Plus with sewer access, they’ll engage in guerrilla warfare tactics if it comes to that.
Chances are they ran the Commonwealth into the ground like they did with the Kingdom and Alexandra. These later season characters are driven by emotions and are completely incompetent.
Another thing to consider, is that in no way will CRM will bring entirety of their force and effectively bring their entire army against the commonwealth, leaving their own cities unprotected. Its likely that any invasion force will be but a fraction of CRM's strenght as you have to consider the logistics and neccessity of having troops stationed back home.
While I agree with almost everything you said, I gotta disagree with your take on Commonwealth soldier armor. The reason why it seems so flimsy and ineffective is mainly due to the Commonwealth soldiers going up against the main cast who has plot armor. We see in the show that Commonwealth armor can take some pretty hard hits and keep its wearer safe. Hell, we see Aaron shoot that one commonwealth commander several times with a Desert Eagle, knocking him off of a 2 or 3 story building, whereas the commander was relatively ok until the walkers started ripping into him. . The show is wildly inconsistent with their armor, but overall I do believe that it offers amazing protection against ballistic and melee threats so long as it isn’t going up against a main character. Edit: I also just found more evidence that suggests that the armor is supposed to be bulletproof. Season 11 Episode 13. Maggie finds the Walker-fied commonwealth troopers who were executed and examines their bodies after putting them down. She explicitly states that they were targeted through the gaps in their armor by skilled marksmen. This, along with the commonwealth commander eating either several 357., 44., or 50AE Desert Eagle rounds point blank has me convinced that it’s just bad writing.
I had to choose between bad writing (plot armor) or find other reasons for them being so bad in this fights. If you look closely their armor moves kind of weirdly, it seems anoying, but yeah that commander fell from a building and was fine, weird.
@@tomaattiXthat’s exactly what its designed for its also more ceramonial which is why its so colorful. The common wealth has no reason to really fight people. As almost anyone they meet will do anything to JOIN not fight. And we see with training its an obstacle course for the dead. Hardly any soldier V soldier training. The commonwealth likely doubts very seriously that there is any group that could threaten them in size.

The Commonwealth soldiers' armor does cover more and offer more protection than that of the CRM soldier's armor, especially against walkers. In the show, though, they couldn't get enough pieces of armor for the extras to actually fully cover the actors like how they're covered in the comics.
If i should tell differences of those two then i would say: Commonwealth is like a "Private army" Meanwhile CRM is more like "Army of the new post-apocalyptic world" just not with too many people to own the whole world, let's say "New generation of US Army"
The crm armor is actually good for zombies you don't need to stop bullets just bites also the AR-15 and m4 is the same rifle just m4 is a military AR-15 that has full auto or burst fire capabilities
Rick and Michonne destroyed the frontliners but they still got a ton of Apaches, Chinooks, and Blackhawks in reserves as shown in the series, the equipment in Cascadia will be recovered.
The crm to walkers: ☆☠Fantastic☠☆ the crm against the main characters: 🤡 it just shows that they're just making the main characters look strong but i dont blame them.
I always thought the purpose of the common wealth armour was to protect from bites from zombies not to protect from Bullets and it looks like it covers everything from bites really well
Just the scene where Michonne overlooks the hangers is enough to put the Commonwealth down. A single Apache is already an overwhelming force for them to deal with. The airpower is the most powerful thing here. Besides that, CRM infantry puts utility over uniformity. The body armor is more useful than the bulky plastic airsoft armor they have.
The Commonwealth trooper's armor isn't as flimsy as you think. Like a previous comment mentioned, it seems like it is able to stop pretty hefty rounds, as when Aaron shoots the Commonwealth commander off the building with a Desert Eagle which apparently only stunned him until the walkers got to him before he could recover. More so, when Maggie finds the zombified Commonwealth troopers she notes that when they were killed they were shot through the gaps of their armor. Again, I'm just quoting a previous comment I seen by @tacotaco1239 because I thought it explained it pretty thoroughly. Take this as you will but it doesn't seem like an armor issue, just a bad writing issue.
The rifles are essentially the same. Both are fully automatic m4a1 style machine guns. CRM looks like they have an edge with the " spring loaded" attachment, but both rifles have they same capabilities in the show.
i lost my shlt when you mentioned the possibility of Negan coming to help out with his people... it'd be SOOOOO epic goddamn. Negan, Rick and Daryl fighting side by side. id pass out.
I played paintball for over a decade and never once did I see anyone wearing "armor" like that. Paintball "armor" is rare to begin with and far more similar to a Motocross jacket, no hard plastic parts or anything like that. The only thing that resembles paintball gear is the goggles. Their armor honestly looks like something out of a B-movie set.
If it goes to all of the people from all of the spinoffs against the CRM, like all of Negans people, all of Daryls people, Alexandria and maybe some people from fear, I would go feral.
Uhhh did bro just say the AR-15 was better than the M4? I mean high-end models sure but the fire mode is restricted. Get someone from the US for advice on guns in the future lol
The CRM is using plate carriers and ACH (Advanced Combat helmets, used in early iraq war) while the Commonwealth has, as mentioned, paintball gear. That alone, not mentioning numbers, ground and arial vehicles, training, organization etc. CRM would only lose to plot armor.
Well… now after the final of the ones who live we probably won’t see a war anymore. Rick is probably going to be the new leader of the crm and will bring his family and friends there
the ricks spinoff, im pretty sure it says that the crm has around 120,000 soldiers, i could be wrong because that is a bit high, over a 3rd of the crm.
The last we saw of the commonwealth was 1 year after season 11s main event. For all we know the commonwealth could have developed and became insanely op
The Commonwealth armor is actually bulletproof? Toby Carlson of the Commonwealth got killed by Aaron in the manner of shooting his chest plate and making him fall the stories down below plus he survived the fall and died by walkers. Aaron shot him with a desert eagle so that armor stopped a 50 AE bullet. so its not plastic cheap toy armour, its the real deal.
Lmao no the Commonwealth stands no chance. CRM has 20,000 and is armed with bombs, chemical weapons, helicopters and vehicles. All it would take is for the Commonwealth’s pathetic defenses to be bombed and allow a column of walkers to do the job. The CRM members are actual Military and those that weren’t before the outbreak have been trained by actual drill sergeant’s, which we saw in World Beyond. Commonwealth seems to place little emphasis on training standards considering Mercer was at a session. As stated by Lance, the vast majority of CW soldiers were kids in the early days of the outbreak who only signed for a simple paycheck, where as CRM soldiers are determined to do what’s best for the community. Even with their low standards Commonwealth does not have a crap ton of soldiers. It could be due to budgeting but considering the fact that each CW soldier was referred by number, we only got confirmation that there are at least 500 soldiers. Also the Commonwealth Soldiers are terrible at doing their job in general since the government heavily monitors them unlike CRM, hindering efficiency. For a labor camp at Alexandria which had dozens of people, Pamela only allowed 16 soldiers for garrison. Lastly, CRM has shown it can effectively fight against competitors because they wiped out Omaha in only a day.
Granted Omaha was likely a surprise attack. And even if the citizens, or whatever defense force they had saw the CRM helicopters coming at them they would have thought nothing of it. They were allies after all. Then they would have been bombed. And too late then. Also these communities simply don’t have any equipment to fight the CRM air superiority decides the fight. And all these communities mathematically should be able to put up a fight wont be able too due to helicopters.
Wait didn’t Aaron shot Toby multiple times with a Desert Eagle on the roof while Toby was wearing the Commonwealth Armor. To the point where the impact of the rounds pushed Toby off the roof and feel to the ground. And when he felt to the ground he was still alive and was left to be eaten by the zombies.
Wait, you forgot to add in one factor to the Commonwealth they are good shots when they’re not shooting the main cast that’s the only point I want to make the Commonwealth is the equivalent of a storm troopers most of the time they’re just there to beef up the body count
I’m sorry, if the Commonwealth troops are the same as they were before, they have no chance considering instead of walking away from zombies, they’re just gonna stand in one spot and die like idiots
CRM soldiers VS Commonwealth soldiers. Its quantity and conscription of the entire population ( Commonwealth) VS quality, better training, better armor, more discipline and only lets anyone who has proven to be a real superior fighter ( CRM). Kinda reminds me of 300 where 300 spartans faces 250,000 persian invaders. You know the outcome of the war
@@cloud67899 The CRM has military weapons, missiles, tanks, and rockets. As well as trained soldiers. The Commonwealth is known for storm trooper aiming 😂
@@brainanchorstudios879 both sides have Powerful AF weaponry however BOTH don't know how to use em. Commonwealth wins just bc they got Rick's Group with em. Crm is easily taken down by mere villagers as seen in World Beyond season 2
@@cloud67899 the CRM destroyed whole communities and there’s no doubt they would’ve destroyed the commonwealth. They have helicopters and deadly gas weapons. I love Ricks group but they don’t stand a flying chance.
The CRM also has Attack helicopters which the Commonwealth doesn't have so overall i'm pretty sure the Commonwealth wouldn't stand a chance against the CRM.
Numbers aren't the issue here, the Commonwealth could mobilize a lot of its population if they have the guns and armour. However a long drawn out battle wouldn't really result in a Commonwealth win unless the CRM significantly fumbled
It also depends on who defends. The CRM won't know about the Commonwealth until they hit Alexandria. If they bring so much as one attack helo there, they'll alert the Commonwealth to who they are and what they're armed with. Neither side knows the other's main base or city.. until Rick and Michonne spill the beans. Which they probably will, now. That will give the Commonwealth enough Intel to work with in terms of knowing what they're dealing with and gathering the means to counter it. They'll defacto be at war since the CRM is going to report the incursion either when they first fight in Alexandria or when they send follow up forces. The CRM will* pursue the matter and the Commonwealth will have the means to lead the CRM anywhere but home, and degrade their force advantage meanwhile. That's how I'd play it anyway.. I'd make sure the CRMs air force never makes it westward in any significant numbers.
Meanwhile, also giving the Commonwealth's home guard time to prepare and mobilize. The CRM is more powerful but doesn't have the fuel or the Intel to find the Commonwealth's other outposts or its home city. The Commonwealth can use that to wear them down and gather the means to counterstrike, since they will* have the location of the CRM's bases.
