most plays are standard besides the AKo 7bet jam when most players have no 6bet bluffs. One suggestion is that as ppl are calling you wider due to your image, slightly tighten your range, bluff less and bet more for value could bring you more ev in short term i guess, anyways you are still my favorite vlogger, rampage and you are both in downswing, but at least your plays seem more rational!

The only hand I think Mariano played poorly is the AK. Getting AK in on a 6bet for a zillion BB’s is just financial suicide. (Not to mention the physical tell of Zhao acting weak/in pain, and then raising).

Both you and Rampage are on massive downswings. While I think you're certainly the better player, the reason is most likely because you're both playing mostly (at least in terms of money) on streams. There's a pressure, and sometimes even a requirement, to play very loose on streams. So obviously the swings are going to be significant.

AKo is *never* a 7-bet shove at 800bb vs an *unknown* Villain, you should be flatting your entire range to the 4-bet.

I day trade stocks. I struggle with this "cloud" at times. I also play cards. I am tighter with that than I am with stocks. Go into the game with a different mindset. It helps! Like, I am not losing a car tonight.

Anyway I wanted to really let you know that something deep and sinister has been going on for about 6 months on HCL and TheLodge. There are a few players who are obvious whales/easy recs who at times have been making some very suspicious plays against certain opponents. I believe the Lodge has definitely been compromised by a staff member and there are 2 players who are getting some kind of information at the tables. I don't say this lightly but as someone who has been watching nearly every stream from thurs to sat for the past 3 years and streams and poker for the past 20 years I am telling you something is NOT right. Doug Polk knows his stream was compromised and that is why you will NEVER see this player on any future lodge streams. Tarras! I have 20 hands he has played that are suspicious and 4 that are really really suspicious. The timing, the line and the opponent. The other player %80 sure is Alex. Here is just one example but I urge EVERYONE to watch all of Tarras hands on other episodes and you will come to the same conclusion that Doug did if you are a say 7/10 reg. The AK hand was certainly an overplay. You have an older gentleman 6-betting to a considerable size, odds are it’s aces, at worst kings. Granted, spiking the K on the flop probably would have cost you a good chunk of your stack regardless, you were getting your money in bad preflop 80-90% of the time. Play fundamentally sound poker like you used to, don’t worry about chasing losses and playing big pots to entertain the vlog watchers. I think the majority of people are more interested in learning how to play poker on a fundamental level than watching you lose big pots.

I thought I was watching a reenactment of my last 3 sessions at Daytona. Flop the nut flush with a Royal Flush draw holding AK of Clubs and QJ2 of clubs on the flop. UTG bets 3 times the pot I rip it and he calls. He turns over 2 pair QJ os and catches a Q on the river. Then I get Aces full of 4s and get beat by Q4 with quads. Never fails sometimes.

First hand, and I really wonder: Checking back the Flop makes a lot of sense. But: Only 1/3 pot on the Turn, complaining even about not betting the Flop. Wow. Just watched that Hus hand and you repped the flush by a reraise on the river (he had AKd on a Th 7s 3h Jh Ac) and he folded. You had Jd8h. I said in my previous post that that's what I do at the 1/2 level but no one is folding an A there (1/2). Big difference in levels. Your playing like Rampage, not a complement, go back and watch you play, you like Rampage aren't giving your opponents enough credit and they all know your strategy. The hand that you bluffed with the A of diamond, at least 90/95% you would have 3bet almost any suited ace after a raise from the co and the call of the btn. You never call in this spot with suited ace oop from the bb. He also have the Q of diamond and you can’t have second but flush. Also JTs or J9s you would probably 3bet squeeze like you always like to do, so for my 2 cents your range in this spot is too unbalanced to many ace of diamond blocking the nuts. And he himself, having the Q of diamond, made a great call!!

Im not Mariano nor Rampage but I believe the mistake here was Dscipline...The standard play to AKO facing a 4 or 5bet would be to Fold. They can only have KK or AA.

Take a break. Get back to your music thing. Clear your mind. Remember...cards have no memory...people do.

Maybe time to go back down in stakes for a while? Don't know what your bankroll is or your bankroll management but I've heard people who play full time should have 50 buyins in their bankroll which is why you got the $1k busting your whole bankroll and 50 seems like A LOT to me too which is why I've never been able to play full time most I used to buy in for was $2k but a few of those and that is a whole good 2 week paycheck which is completely degen. Even if you get it in way ahead risking your entire bankroll is just asking to need a job but hey you're a vlogger so maybe it's entertainment for you but I've found it's very expensive if you are using job money to play thank God there is ACR again so people new to the game or who just suck can still play for pennies and try to build a bankroll the right way although I've found people playing for pennies are the brokest nittiest players don't know where people are playing that low and don't think $3 is anything when it could be a significant portion of their bankroll.

You and rampage need to move back down in stacks and get back in the flow. Some of these plays and decisions you guys are making are just nuts (not the good ones). I think I like a more polarized bluff with the A of diamonds against Zhao. I am not anywhere near your level, but I think something around pot sized or an over bet could work better. Maybe 30K gets it done rather than 18K.

While the ak shove was bad, there’s some chance you are getting much of that stack (if not all of it) in after the flop hits your king. So don’t kill yourself over it. It was bad, as you acknowledged. But learn from it and move on.

I’m sorry Mariano, but your play has gotten Way To Aggressive. You have to learn how to release more hands, and Save money. When you’re on a downswing, and your play is questionable at best, then it’s time to tighten up and play your cards, and not your opponents cards.
