I for some reason really want a gasgas over a ktm or husky, 1- cause its different than what eveyone else wants (husky, ktm) 2. cause i like Justin Barcia lol. but now I also have been looking at the beta Xtrainer, im on the bigger size so idk how well that would suit me
Haha I hear ya! The beta xt is great but I’m 5 10 and 205 pounds and I’m on the border line I feel sometimes for the size of the bike! I can push a full size bike way harder!! There good and bads of the bike! Light and nimble great for hard enduro and tech riding but for higher speeds stuff it’s not so great !!
I’m 6’1”. I had a 2018 Xtrainer. I now have a 2022 GasGas EC300. I prefer the GasGas in all ways. But as always go to the dealer and hop on them and check the fit and rider triangle.
@@whitehollywood6447 I’m on the fence about getting an XTrainer or full on 300. At my age I don’t need to push the speeds anymore so maybe XT is the way. Will prob see you at TH pretty soon. 🤘🏻
@@Garrettactical I have mine modded out like a full 300!! There great bikes but lack stability like 48 mil forks and higher speeds! Suspension upgrades made it definitely way better but still not the same as a full-size bike, but it depends on what you like to ride tech or fast, every bike has its good and bad also depends on your writing style as the trainer is more of a trials type feeling bike/Enduro
I tried a buddy's brand new Husqvarna and I liked it but for one thing. The brakes absolutely sucked! Maybe just the set up with the brakes and maybe it was the fact that the bike was brand new, being ridden for the first time that day and the brakes weren't bedded in. Maybe I'm just used to Nissin brakes because that's what's on my Hondas. So I liked the Betas over the Husqvarna. Tomorrow is New Bike Day for me. Will it be the XTrainer or 300RR is the only question. Leaning towards the XTrainer. I like the smaller size. We'll see. Good luck with your decision!
Hmmmm! The 24 husky I rode last week the brakes were awesome! It was brand new and I rode it after him riding it at about 1 hr on the bike! Shoot I thought they were better then my beta xt nissin brakes! I do need to bleed mine and flush it’s about that time! Doin it this weekend! I love my xt for tech riding it’s amazing not so much for higher speeds though it’s sketchy! I’m just looking for a second bike and really like the new 24 bikes!
@@whitehollywood6447 My 22 GG has the Brembo's on them. I think the EC comes with the Brake tec. Which I also think the husky's have. The good news is you can swap the MC if you don't like the feel for Brembo directly. For my year the only differences with the GG were non-billet triple clamps and the side cases. Otherwise is the same bike.
I don't understand why Husqvarna didn't continue to use the migura clutch and breaks on my 2019 tx300 are the best handling breaks and clutch I ever experienced.
@@JakePickle I’m enjoying the beta right now!! Don’t necessarily need right now right away and they go down a couple thousand at the end of the yr around here before new models come out and also I wanted to see if tbi had issues cause next yr models are always perfected and little changes are made if I decide to get a 25 model
@@whitehollywood6447 I feel like that's a little bit of a rip-off given the fact they're billed as Enduro machines. I guess not that huge of a deal since a fan is only like 115$
@@stoplogicmotorsports My TPI is the first bike I've ever had a fan on. My old 300 was running richer which I guess meant cooler. With the TPI it defiantly runs leaner and I can hear the fan a lot more. I decided to put the fan on after a few rides. In temps over 70 it runs a ton more than it does in the winter for sure.
