siege has already killed cod and basically every other game. prob the only game in existence to be the #1 fps shooter and its own fanbase even hates it lmao
I answered the phone at work a couple days ago and the person was calling not to inquire about buying anything, but to ask if I play warzone. I laughed and said I haven't played in years but I think a couple people here might play it so I can let them know (he was looking for someone to play duos with and he said he's a beast at it). I never thought I'd take a call like that in my life. I guess that shows how bad off warzone is these days if people can't even find someone decent to play with in their local area.
@@brick5067better than mw2 & mw3 (I ignored the Warzone & battle pass and shit, multiplayer and singleplayer in mw19 is fine af, shame mw2 is a scam) Cod now is just nikki minaj and snoop dog Snoop dog as an announcer in cod ghost made sense (just to support snoop dog's fanbase) but nah him being an operator is crazy
I mean it is kinda of a balanced ult tho, cuz you’re forced to use a two-shot to the body and one shot to the head suppressed five seven, which imo adds a level of skill, considering you also get your ult effectively only once per match.
@@spysmocking4536I mean that pistol is busted. But the ult in this game takes forever (basically never more than twice each game) to charge so yeah still pretty balanced
@@mordredm980 Meh maybe if you do really well. I personally have never gotten my ult more than once per match, probably also because I mainly played Hotshot. And the most kills i have gotten with the Five seven is like 3 kills, but tbh a really good player could get more definitely. I admit I’m not that good yet.
@@jodlaa5142 I was talking about Echelon’s ult. your talking about DedSec’s ult, which i have not gotten yet, but if what your saying is true yeah maybe they need to nerf its duration a bit.
Sniper looks OP because the ADS movement speed is really low so they can't really staff to dodge and you have no shaky effect if you get shot while scoping so it's basically point and click almost on top of being a one shot
I mean no you do get flinched when shot(which is a garbage mechanic that benifits bad players) the reason it's OP is the bodyshot kill and what seems like high bullet magnetism and aim assist on high zoom scopes
The shaky effects in this game are super obnoxious, the sniper has the same problem, what makes it op is what the game counts as headshots. I didn't notice this when playing cuz I have ass aim but looking at Charlies gameplay it is very apparent.
@@Celtyyyyy yeah its not like an intervention or a balista or sum because the gunplay is not as smooth. But the tac-50 definitely needs to be checked out. Or other weapons need to be rebalanced. Most weapons are trash.
Xdefiant feels like almost everything can be considered overpowered, especially some abilities like fire bullets as a passive ability but that's probably why it is so fun because nothing can be too strong if everything is
Positioning, if you pay attention you’ll see your getting shot by more than one person, either behind or to the side of you. Also, what weapon are they using? A sniper will take you out immediately, same with a shotgun.
"will this kill Call Of Duty" bro COD killed itself, this game doesn't even need to. Edit: Welcome to my reply section, home of the COD and Activision boot lickers.
as an og cod player this game has brought me back to this genre. if they add killcams, and a search and destroy like game mode this is gonna be a great game
@@ImAlwayzAlertthe game just came out GIVE IT IDK… A MONTH man I think some of y’all are just a lil to addicted already as if this game was like coke but for gamers 😂 this game is hella fun tho I won’t lie does bring back hella memories from old cod days
@@2TypeABIt reminds me of Gotham imposters and how it was supposed to be the next "Call of duty killer". But we all know how that turned out. Don't get me wrong it's fun for what it is but only for about 2 weeks to a month. A game like this is just literal junk food that gives you a dopamine rush for a moment then it stops. No replay value to really have you keep playing it. Honestly it reminds me of a couple of mobile games I used to play back in the day that were like csgo dollar brand carbon copies also
I honestly think snipers are VERY balanced in this game, every good player I have ran into and especially high level lobbies are only using smgs, ARs, and lmgs. That has nothing to do with my point it just helps illustrate that snipers aren't the best weapon or even the fastest ttk in this game. All the weapons in this game have thier own neiche and a like that, you have to play different with every one and all guns are viable.
@@DreadlyKnightTo be fair, he doesn't usually say the title/name of things, it's usually just that specific description with the title of the topic, or the video title. It's probably to get more clicks for retention. (I'm not saying it's a bad thing, most people do know what they're getting when they click on his videos, and click bait is not always bad, only if the thumbnail/title has nothing or very little to do with the video)
We need a game that feels like the old cods, like the atmosphere. The clan voiceover at the start of each multiplayer match, the distinct armies that you could play that were real. I enjoyed COD because it felt like I was a soldier. I remember COD4 playing maps like Vacant and how eerie it felt and how the area felt like a war zone. Watching penguinz play this game the maps colour, feel just feels like a cartoon. Personally that's not what I am into, and most of the OG COD players I know they understand what I am talking about. Even thinking back to MW2 using the UMP45 on one of the new maps Carnival just felt like I was in a raid mission or something. This is what Modern COD games are missing. Maps, characters, guns etc... are to clean and tidy, it should not be like that, make it more dark gritty, eerie like COD4, WAW, MW2, BOPS1. Give that authentic vibe. COD is now trying to be something its not with these stupid characters (Nicki Minaj). Even something simple like booting up the game used to be immersive. We can all remember the FEELING of opening up the menu for BOPS1, MW2, COD4, WAW and how authentic it felt. Now menus are filled with shit to buy and boring, bland menus with no character to them... A perfect analogy would be imagine Trailer Park Boys or It's Always Sunny, they purposely make their shows look amateurish because it pulls of a certain vibe that they are looking for which makes the shows more funny and authentic. Now that's what COD used to be but today they are trying to be like Fortnite or Overwatch which are totally different vibes. I just wish another publisher would do this or Activision or Treyarch would get their shit together and make a good game. XDefiant may or not be the COD killer, but it for sure doesn't bring back the OG COD vibes at all... I am surprised that they have one of the ex COD developers from that era and he didn't even try to incorporate this aspect.😔😔
Might be the same type of thing Epic Games does (which isn't actually a bad thing)...like the game Hades was exclusive to the Epic Game launcher for the first 6 months as a soft launch. (with the original intent to open it to every platform after the initial exclusivity to Epic) Then afterwards it's open to Steam/Xbox/etc for everyone.
@@redvoco02 Don't speak for them...? Just because you're fine with having a bunch of launchers doesn't mean other people would. It's about convenience, they already have Steam, what's the point in limiting the platform you can play it on? And the game being free is irrelevant, you can criticize it and have negative feelings towards the game regardless of if it's free or not.
It's coming to steam but it's such a shit game. Sniping is far too easy and ttk makes killing a sniper way too difficult. I don't get why companies try to sell us these rosters of characters no one cares about. If you want to make cod for people that don't love modern cod just copy black ops 2. No one wants to play as that guy from the division
Cod: costs 70 dollars, uses a free to play monetization model after you've already paid 70 dollars to play the game, uses sweaty sbmm that makes every match feel the same which causes the game to get stale, takes up 200 gigabytes of storage. Xdefiant: offers an extremely similar player experience to cod, is totally free to play and everything is unlockable without spending a dime, doesn't use sbmm so the game has a healthy mix of mindless casual fun and sweaty matches, uses only 30 gigabytes of storage. I think the winner is obvious 🤣
What's even worse is that CoD admitted to using EOMM which basically rigs your game based on your last match. Say you're playing multi-player and drop a 130 in shipment, your next match is probably gonna be straight up doogie. It sucks, and revenge spawns are a thing so sometimes an enemy will spawn in your spawn, and the game is just broken. I'm glad there's another game with similar play now, gonna have to try it out.
"This is for Tampa!" Misses shot "they never get any love anyway" (bro had be dying 💀) Edit:(oh sh- I leave for 16 hours and come back to 567 Likes. Thanks so much everyone
People keep playing cod for one of two reasons. 1. They legit like it 2. Its like working on septic tank management. You keep smelling shit and eventually get used to it. But when you get hit by a vastly different stink, its offensive, so you just stick to the shit you know.
Pretty much... I haven't 'smelled' it since 2014 with Ghosts... and I tried this and couldn't stomach the smell. I'd much prefer the other games I run over this... plust most of mine are already f2p so xDef being f2p isn't enticing for me.
@@Ravvox nobody gives af about valorant to begin with besides virgins and discord mods, so I find it telling you’d even try to bring that into the discussion
The Finals got buried so I doubt this will successfully emerge in the FPS community. I give it two months tops, but I hope I'm wrong. We need more W's and care in this genre.
While the finals did have a decline throughout the past few months the community and devs are still going surprisingly strong and have pretty good plans for their upcoming seasons imo.
@@gabrielwilliams8827 I can see Finals having a smallish player base for a long time because the game and the fundamental mechanics are incredibly good.
The class system in the Finals felt awful though. Heavy was too slow and really lacked that oppressive firepower that they needed. Scout had oppressive firepower and mobility, making it the most fun by a longshot to play, and Medium felt more of a support than an actual fighter. Heavy was more of a terrain manager than anything from what I saw, which had moments where it was good. XDefiant meanwhile is much more like an arcade shooter, with pretty traditional gamemodes. There's definitely some abilities that are WAY better than others and that definitely needs working on. Definitely seeing a sniper rifle supremacy. Gonna need some balancing tweaks for sure. Especially since ARs feel like wet noodles.
The finals is too sweaty and the devs refuse to lean into casuals. This game is actually arcadey and accessible for all players and will probably get more consistent content that the drought of the finals.
This game has been hot dogass so far for me. Literally doing almost 0 damage with any weapon I try and I have no idea how anyone can stand to play it. 17 damage a shot with a M4 and taking 4-5 headshots to kill someone is crazy.
