They offered him 12 and said with good behavior could be out in as little as 5-8. When he took my daughter he was on bail for SA but was not deported as they didnt seem him as a risk to the community. My daughter's crime was completely preventable. That is an extremely troubling issue to have when the state can openly prosecute on ideological grounds. But dangerous forms of protest are irrefutably bad (fires, etc), and I agree with you on 100%. But stating that people power tripping by driving over the crosswalk being a worthwhile problem is a bit of a stretch to me.
