and the oppressor always ends up replicating the oppression among themselves, eventually-- fascism is just imperialism and colonialism turned inward...
The itty bitty teeny tiny unfunded and ingenious Al Qassam Brigades are taking its toll on IDF 😝and Bibi needs more meat for his imperialist project....
Perhaps Israel needs to change from being a military state to being a more beneficent state giving equal rights for all of the people, and ending the occupation of Gaza and the West Bank.
I'm an American taxpayer and I'm tired of some Americans, who worry more about other countries borders, while our Southern border is out of control. This is an example of what's happening with certain Americans. Last Year: We stand with Ukraine! This Year: We stand with Israel! Next Year: We stand with Taiwan! America should be Standing with Americans. I guarantee you Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan are never gonna help the U.S
ah,no. they need to release reserve people out because unlike palestinians and neighbouring arab countries to israel, israel has big high tech industry...
@@user-we4ih1tp7n Israel also has something else that none of its surrounding countries have, Nukes! Again, Israel ignores International Law by refusesing to let weapons inspectors in. The illegal settlements in the West Bank and the fact the IDF is passing out weapons to civilian Israelis living illegally in the West Bank. For all you Christians who support Israel, I suggest you watch RU-vid videos on how Christians are treated by the Jewish people in Bethlehem. You rarely see any national reports about the West Bank and the fact it has Israelis, Christians and Palestinians, all living in that area together. It's not the Palestinian Authority that's hurting Christians. It's not the Palestinians attacking Christians. They both get treated like horrible by the Israel and the IDF. You never hear them talk about the West Bank. Why can't the Palestinians that are trapped in Gaza go to the West Bank? Is it because they don't have as much room since so many Israelis started building those illegal settlements, and straight up taking their homes.
@user-we4ih1tp7n ah, no. One of the speakers specifically said that since “Israel” lost 650 soldiers and have an additional 3,000 wounded that they need more people for their genocide and failed campaign against Hamas.
@kd9457 most injuries are eye injuries , but sure. soon you will say hizbullah people have lsss serious injuries... israel has declared they lost 400 soldiers in 7th of october and 250 more fighting in gaza . so what are they hiding and what new information is there ? 400 +250 = 650....
@@THE.WEBBER what is the new information? israel officially declared they lost 400 soldiers in october 7 and 250 more in gaza . no new information here. yes we need more soldiers so we dont end like people of darfur or assyriacs of gaza or the jews of hebron and safed in 1929 or the christians of chekka damour and aishiyeh and we want to end months long of reserve service.
I think you’re right, the numbers don’t seem to have changed for months. The Israelis have a problem when it comes to telling the truth. I have heard that there are thousands that have been injured and hospitals are having to release patients before they are really well enough.
A war is fought between two armies. Not against innocent women and children. Only an immoral and cowardly army does that. Is that a good enough reason why so many are demanding a cease fire or do we need to describe more atrocities?
Not one single soldier is needed, what Israel needs to do is to let the Palestinians have their land and to stop its wicked and vile brutality against the innocent Palestinians. Honest and beautiful people don't see Hamas as a terrorist group or organisation but see Israel as a terrorist state, a vile one to be precise.
Actually it's called Palestine, not israel, since millions of ethnically cleansed Palestinians never voted for a name change of their country. Until a vote is held the name remains Palestine.🌠
@@TexasSniper-cy8uq What about the Palestinians in the West Bank? Do they have any voting control anywhere, whether it's Gaza, Israel, or the West Bank? If Palestinians in Gaza wanted to go to the West Bank, would they be allowed to currently? Did they ever allow Palestinians to go to the West Bank from Gaza or vice versa?
@@Christopher0632 Ultra Orthodox jews? Did you listen to the panel? The IDF will have a lot of work to do to integrate them..... opens a whole bunch of problems and changes in their organisation. It'll take years.

There are regular 18 year olds that go through basic training before being sent to battle. These people are no different. In 30 years, at their rate of growth they are expected to be almost 60% of the total population. It's not sustainable to keep financially taking care of people who don't want to work or contribute.

you obvi didn't even watch the report before commenting and have no idea what you're talking about, of course-- as several people iterated here; most of the ultra-orthodox have always been opposed to zionism and many of them lived in peace in Palestine long before zionism came
ah,no.... most israelis serve in the army, and ultra orthodox dont. so no civil war as they dont serve in the army and dont have any weapons. we just gonna cut funding to schools who dont teach general studies on top of religious studies (like national orthodox do...they constitute half the orthodox jews in israel, most religious mizrahi jews, and they serve in the army). good luck with their "civil war"
The evidence shows that they wholeheartedly believe in murder. The ultra orthodox are quite happy to protest at the border to stop food trucks reaching starving children.
but islamists do. anyone who disagree with islam or criticise it,even an author like salman rushdie or unarmed film producer like theo van goch, let alone the atheist activists assasinated in bangladesh.... jews do believe in self defense though, thats why most orthodox jews do serve in the army(national orthodox ) so no 1929 hebron or safed massacre or 1938 tiberias massacre or 1941 farhud is perpetrated against them
@@user-we4ih1tp7n Committing mass genocide in the name of any religion is abhorrent. Netanyahu’s aim of complete destruction, bulldozing homes, hospitals, schools, an entire free state is not self defence. When the IRA bombed England, they didn’t resort to annihilation of the Irish. What Israel is doing is a holocaust.
Yes like Quakers or Amish-- who were always the backbone of the anti-slavery movement in the USA; just like many Orthodox have always been the most vocal opponents of zionist occupation and apartheid; many of them are regularly attacked and brutalized by police in Jerusalem for flying Palestinian flags

How many West Bank settlers are age appropriate for the draft? Are they being forced into the army? Out of 700,000 settlers it would seem many would be conscripted?
a)the un and arab nations call the 500 yo jewish quater of jerusalem "settlement" ,so with the hundreds year old(continuously-with intermissions millenias old) jewish presence of jews in hebron "settlement" . we call it the west bank and judea. b)and yes, national orthodox, the denomination that support jewish presence in the west bank the most, has higher conscription rate than the general israeli jewish population, they make disproportionate number of the officer cadets and they enlist into more combative units than the average israeli jews.
The military in Israel is given far too much importance and has led to a hyper-militaristic society and government. If diplomacy and a practicing democracy is actually in place, no one should be required to take up arms and engage in wars they do not morally agree with. No one should be jailed for opposing wars they oppose,
i am sure everyone in the muslim world can morally refuse to pay jiziyah and can morally refuse to admit he is a muslim and can declare he doesnt want to be a muslim any more. but as we dont want to be dhimmis any more we have military service ,just like the west(and arab/muslim world) force people to pay taxes to causes they disagree with or to enlist(as was the case in ww1,ww2,korea war and vietnam war). they aint risking jail, they are risking losing funding to their yeshivas. and why should we fund religious schools who dont contribute to our economy or to our national security?
@@cynthiabragg2611 yes but those aint islamists like palestinians(followers of haj amin el husseini, founder of hizb el tahrir, founder of al quaeda abdullah azam, hamas from the muslim brotherhood) who think its ok to kill a person just for leaving islam or critising mohammad or being gay . if ultra orthodox jews in israel had problem with israel they wont sit in a coalition with bibi netanyahu...
Special privilege given to the king maker had finally come to shore to bite the government, Netanyahu's policy that treat its citizens differently based on religion ground exposed in time of crisis.🤔
When it comes to universal public service there should be NO exceptions. In times of war there are many jobs that do not require front line fighting - medical service, logistics, etc. If they refuse to serve then they should not have access to welfare or any other social services paid by the taxpayer.
As a comparison, Russia has conscripted approximately 300,000 in the last 10 years, Israel recalled about 300,000 reservists worldwide since the October 7th attack. The combat zone in Gaza is tiny, so what are all those troops doing?
Splendid episode, Pulitzer Prize material. It was an interesting look into the specifics of Israeli society/government, but it addresses issues many countries are facing, advanced economies & democracies are struggling with the question of rights/responsibilities, what is the relationship between the citizen & the State & fellow citizens, and how burdens/sacrifices are implemented… bravo
there is also what is sometimes called "reconstructionist" or 'revisionist' orthodox which basically means just as conservative and tradition except that they don't exclude and marginalize women, as far as I can tell Ultra-Orthodox try to observe all the rules of the Torah all the time and shun anything 'worldly' like sports or politics or finance and business etc, while 'regular' Orthodox still try to follow most of the same rules and practices but participate in worldly affairs more freely. Whereas 'conservative' means someone that still follows a lot of the oldschool practices but believes in adapting them pragmatically to the modern world and is comfortable with a division between religion and state and secular law etc.
almost all wars and conflicts exist because religious groups and their politics, but they are always the last to sacrifice and face the horror of war. In America, Christian fundamentalist, are the first to call for blood and war, worship the military culture, but they are nowhere to be seen on the battlefield when time comes
Just the fact that Israeli is desperate for what would obviously be bad undisciplined soldiers no matter how much training is telling! Also telling that Zionist have 22 years old that are Colonels and Majors in their army 😮
we aint desperate. we dont think its fair we do long reserve service and pay more taxes and they dont . we gonna put financial sanctions on them because there is no reason for the preferential treatment they were getting so far. that money will go for people who teach general studies or serve in the army and get adequate compensation. if they can handle without our money, ahalan wasahaln. and no 22yo is a colonal or even a major or captain.
In 2018 Netanyahu declared Israel a Jewish state. Religious states generally revere their orthodox members and they're allowed special treatment, like treating their wives as dirty objects when they have their period. If they're being forced to fight this means Israel is losing troops. This is happening because despite being a fully militarised state of paranoia their army is ill-trained whilst being over-equipped. Well-trained Hamas fighters are picking them off like flies in the dust of the Gaza Strip and the untrained, terrified Ultra Orthodox will be like shooting fish in a barrel.
So maybe cleaning toilets and floors on the Gaza strip during the ceasefire or not washing your own car when volunteering to drive patients living on the Gaza stirp to other facilites to recieve specialist medical care treatment was not doing any dirty work during the last ceasefire too before some Hamas kidnappers decided to help ensure that the other kind of dirty work you speak of had to according to you be done instead to the degree it is happening right now? Like a Canadian by the name of Vivian Silver too.
we dont need more soldiers,we need to let the reservists go home and get higher salaries. if the ultra orthodox dont serve, dont teach their kids general studies and dont pay nearly as much taxes as they rest of the israelis-no need for us to give them preferentail treatment. and its evident now
Good government or legitimate government will always earn respect and never demand respect from it's citizens. A country worth defending will never resort to conscription nor will they ever need to. There is no greater enemy of humanity than they who believe men are expendable.
