May the great William Schallert who played agent Frank Harper in this 2 part episode R.I.P. Passed away at the age of 93 on 5/8/2016. Great character actor. Very underrated. Quite the career he had.

Jack LINDEN At the end of the series, West went with the flat look.

You're both wrong. He didn't go for the flat look. This was obviously filmed after Robert Conrad's hospitalization for severe concussion from a stunt that went wrong during the filming of The Wild Wild West (on RU-vid). When he returned to the series months later his hair was different. It went from full pompadour to flat. The flat was a hairpiece. His hair was never the same as in the early episodes. It's how fans can tell between the episodes -- pre-concussion & after concussion.

John LaStrada No, that accident happened in late January 1968. It was the last episode filmed in S3, not shown until November 1968. In fact, if you watch the episode(TNOT Fugitives), they picked up filming some 12 weeks later with Jim West getting up after falling from the chandelier, with the familiar wavy hair. Also, several S4 episodes were filmed where Conrad had the non flat doo.

@@wildforthecats661 - I don't entirely disagree with you but I worked in TV & movies in the 70s & early 80s. Release dates are when the show was aired. As you said "shown." West had a full head of hair because that scene was filmed BEFORE he had the accident although it appears he had already fallen. Scenes are filmed out of sequence & then edited together. Many of these shows are filmed out of sequence. For James West to go from a full head of wavy hair to flat and straight a situation took place. Hairstylists on TV shows do not usually mess with a main character's appearance unless it has something to do with the character itself or something beyond their control. I saw the drastic hairstyle change after that episode with the chandelier fall. Though I believe there were some episodes that followed that West had a full head of hair (because they were filmed prior to the accident). Do not use release dates or shown dates as actual filmed dates -- there could be an entire year between those dates.

John LaStrada Fugitives was the last episode filmed in S3. The first 7 episodes filmed, not shown, in S4, Conrad had the normal hair. It started getting flatter in TNOT Juggernaut and continued the rest of the series.

There's a couple of versions of the collected series. The first was in a fancy looking type display but the discs were not secured properly. This set contains the two specials, Revisited and More WWW. The later one released does not contain these two specials but are now available together on one disc. I bought the 4 seasons separately, which are still available on Amazon.
