its not ancient. there are no medieval traces left. all has been destroyed by protestant terrorist during the reformation. What you see here is largely 18th century and victorian.

Dus dit is basies onmoontlik dat jou eie man nie op een of ander manier familie van jou is nie. Via n baie groot ompad via n oumagrootjie se oumagrootjie se ouma grootjie of n agter-agter-agter-agter-agter neef. Op die ou einde is ons wit mense almal familie van mekaar.

It so happens that a friend of mine from this very town (Selkirk) was actually hurt when crushed under a gravestone but it was the other graveyard in the town about 2km from this site.
