Williams STARDUST Pinball machine from 1971 in Gameplay

This is a classic from 1971 - and not from 1973 as i say in the video. Second "STARDUST" i own and i didn't had to think long when it was offered to me in late 2022. In good working condition it only needed a little bit of adjusting within the Score Reels. Cool and interesting and stunning gameplay on this "hidden pearl". It represents the early 1970s very well with its "drug themed" artwork. Don't walk by if you ever see this game on location! It's worth a few games. Definitely! Greetings from germany.

Every Stardust machine I played back in the day on location was a 5-ball machine. Thanks for posting your videol It was a lot of fun to play and I've got good memories associated with this machine and that era.

You have a wonderful collection and thank you for sharing it. Could I please request strongly that when you are filming the play not to move the camera around? We miss so much of how the game works. We don’t need close-ups of the score or of any particular item. We’ve already seen the close-ups of everything before you started playing the game. Whenever they have contests, they always hold the cameras steady, showing the entire playfield.

Why don't the German machines have chimes .......or did you remove them for some reason.

I wasn't on location back in those days. Much too young. Entered the scene in the late 1970s. EE had entered the market. As far as i heard from the guys who experienced the pubs and cinemas and fast food locations ("Imbisse") they told me that the owners of these didn't wanted "the noise" from the bells ringing and the chimes clunking. They told (and forced) the operators not to put in or disconnect these units. Germany was always a BIG market for the pinball producers and so they did like they were told and produced most of the machines without chime units or bells. The big problem nowadays is to get these items. Difficult and very expensive! Sadly! That's the history behind the missing sound of most of the EM games here in germany. @@Tomyelectronic Hi Tommy. as an alternative fot the loud chimes, i'm looking for a way to introduce electric chimes with volume control, trigger by the original chime pulses. Do you think there would be a market for that in Germany ? PS I only live 30 km from the German Border so I could also write in German wenn Sie möchten...

Let's talk in english - because i am from germany....har har har! If you want to introduce your new developed system it might be the best decision to go to "www.flippermarkt.de" and write everything down there. Good luck on your mission!
