so glad they decide to let Robert sing the soundtrack, it would've been a waste otherwise, this man is a amazing (and sadly underrated) actor with an voice straight out of heaven...
Music is universal without age and time. I’m 62 now and loved Creep when Radiohead first came out with it and I still love this song because I’m so f#%king special. 🤟
some on give this man a record deal along with his acting career! why does he not have an album?!?! I have been waiting since "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign"
There are more songs of him out there (although most of them are not professionaly recorded): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vnSUX2NkGZI.html&app=desktop
I watched it for the first time two days ago. Heard this song at the end and was like, “That sounds like Rob.” I was not surprised but pleased to learn it was.
It is worth to watch the movie "High Life" as a prelude to strong experience the end with Robert Pattinson singing Tindertstics's "Willow". It is so fortunate that he has chosen to sing to let us know his voice. Unforgettable. Is there anything that he is not good at? The move brought me here
When I feel stressed and want to calm down, or want a good night sleep, this is the first song that comes to mind. Coulda been anybody with this voice or these lyrics or melody....it just happens to be iconic Tindersticks and one of my favorite actors which just makes it an even better experience. My kids will be using this as a lullaby. Batman gonna sing their butts to sleep.
Willow Where are you hiding now Willow Where are you hiding now In the [?] light [?] in the tree Spiders and a centipede Crawl across your hands Across your knees Willow Do you walk across the sand Willow Till the waves crash and fall And their fingers tickle At your feet [?] Do you feel that rushing forward Though you're standing still Willow Are we rushing forward, are we standing still? Willow Are we rushing forward, are we standing still? Willow Do you crouch among the rooftops Willow Listening to a city wheezing And your dreams they stretch Beyond the clouds and pass the moon Until the stars feel the rushing forward Though you're standing still Willow Are we rushing forward, are we standing still? Willow Does this love hold a destination, willow D'you feel the wind running through your hair Willow Feel the sun upon your back [?] breath, an abyss
I knew the second I saw Robert in Twilight, that no matter what he does, it will be a masterpiece. He know's how to use his energy to attract the same signature his . Fabulous in-sight. Love Robert he is absolutely amazing! !! Beautiful song ...Willow " It is one of those what tend's to stay in your mind , in a magical way ...💞🌸💞
Take it easy guys (sorry, i mean ladies) he is just the singer on this one. Music is by Tindersticks, who compose all the (beautiful) scores for Claire Denis' movies.
*He plays piano, guitar and he likes to sing,* in fact he has sing before in other movies of his; but *he doesn't consider himself a professional singer.* Rob loves the music, one of his ex-girlfriends ( at least one that I know of ) and his current girlfriend, with whom he has been dating for 4 years already (Suki) one of the reasons they connected with him is/was because they share a deep love for music.
High Life will stay as a very important moment in the history of Cinema ! Claire Denis strikes again with sublime performances from a stellar cast : Pattinson, Binoche, Benjamin, Mia Goth ...
and lars eidinger, as i just learned yesterday (well known actor in germany... theater and movies) i ordered the dvd... after all the claire denis interviews i finally should watch this movie :)
Felt some earlier masterpieces here: Kubrick 2001; Tarkovsky Solaris; Pattinson evoked the Stalker too. Not too many filmmakers can capture the remote and the alone--it could be space or earth. And the dogs scene--I felt it as an homage to Laika. No living creature as alone in space as she. And the story trajectory the same as in High Life--no plans to bring her/them back.
Hauntingly beautiful. I have been waiting for this movie for SO long. One more month to wait. I love Rob for his acting, his music and for his undying devotion to his family and fans. Rob, I love your singing so very much. Wish you would just record an album already! Keep up the great work!
sunflower I googled Robert Pattinson and clicked on news and it was one by something called Nottinghamshire Live this is the quote from in “The video has been viewed nearly 18,000 since its release. RU-vid commenter Sunflower said: "Is this what you listen to when you enter heaven?"”
I literally let out a subtle gasp as the song started and fell in love with how well his voice is here. "Let Me Sign" WHHOOO? This beats that by so much. Update: Listened to it a second time and actually shed tears. I never saw this coming.
You'll it's very beautiful.... Rape, murder, incest... Nice ride... But seriously though. I listened to this song before watching the movie and I was like : man, this is going to me moving!! But when I actually saw the film I was more like : thank god this is far from a feel good movie... It's not even touching it's just disturbing and uneasy
You can love it but personnally I didn't find any moment where I could connect with any of the characters. And for me that's the biggest turn off. And add at that the ambiguous ending and I was just like : well... It's just I truly couldn't connect with the story. Characters were more kind of unidimensional for me and the themes didn't resonate as much as it could. It's like the character of Mia Goth : why did she sacrificed herself? I didn't even got to know the character and she dies in a disturbing way (wouldn't be as disturbing if I knew the interiority of the character but I didn't)@@michaelahirawani4061
I've always loved Robert Pattinson's voice. His voice lead me to the Twilight Movies. He's sexy,He always seems to do the weird movies where they give him God awful haircuts but I think with a little more confidence his singing would take him all the way. Love this
