I love the idea of turning the museum into a vet clinic thats slightly modern! I feel like it would be a nice touch to Willow Creek so we don't have to travel to another world to bring our sick companions to the vet!!
It would be cool to see the museum made into something more like a historic New Orleans type home, similar to the Von Haunt Estate but for Willow Creek, I like the idea of keeping with the spirit of the lot's original purposes and I think a very Victorian New Orleans style historic house would be something cool to build, with bits roped off etc. There are so many museums like that in New Orleans that you could find for inspiration :)
Don't forget to visit that venue and buy all the books that are in the game. It always bothers me when I visit libraries and they only have the 10 default books.
I guess it is something that they may have overlooked. I wish they could just patch it so that libraries will automatically have all the books available in-game so we don't have to go and buy them ourselves.
So, since Willow Creek is based on New Orleans/Louisiana, how about transform the museum into something jazz/music related? Maybe a music center/school?
I do think you should keep the museum or maybe an vetclinic like somebody else mentioned and I love tha idea to have an fancy restaurant by the Goths! And the renovation is beautiful 😍
Almost forgot! LittleMsSam has a mod that is essentially a Lot Trait that automatically hires workers for whatever items require a sim. i.e. Bars/coffee bars/food booth/etc.
I think that a church would go really well on the museum lot! Perhaps the church would be really old with a little cemetery but be renovated into something modern like a small spa/art studio or museum? A wedding venue would be perfect too, there’s always need for more romantic spots! LOVED this renovation as always, it looks so inviting and cosy now!
I love this library and can't wait to add it to my game. It just looks so cozy. As a librarian, I'd love to work here. As far as the Museum, I like the idea of keeping it as a museum, especially since a museum is needed for the Painter Extraordinaire aspiration. It's such a beautiful location that it would be nice to make it a museum/wedding venue. Love your builds!
@SimLicy My GF and I have just recently been forced to restart our world and we have been using as many of your builds as possible. When it comes to the museum lot, I would really love to see it turned into a restaurant. Restaurants are some of the best/most usable lots in the game and I just love having multiple restaurants throughout the game. I am sure you would make a fantastic restaurant in this New Orlean's style.
Willow Creek warms me, it reminds me of the Unleashed gamepack from TS1 when we got the city bigger and there were some new orleans styled buldings with that npc playing some awsome jazz! I love it so much ♡ And this building is lovely and cozy, I'll def add it to my game, seein my girls going on romantic library dates.

I would love a vet clinic in Willow Creek. I try to stick to one town for each save file and that is the one thing missing! Btw the Library looks beautiful! Those city living trees are genius. Cant wait to use them

I love your builds and can't wait until your save file is done. No matter how long it takes it will be worth it. The only thing I would change a out this build is to add a puppet show box in the kids area. Growing up we always had fun group activities like that.
Yes! I knew you'd do a good job :) I'm super picky about library builds because I work at one, so I'm constantly looking for things like a front desk, a children's section, etc. Some people on the gallery just think that all you have to is throw some bookshelves in and call it a day. I'd love to see you build more libraries in other worlds as well. I have a shopping center on the museum lot in my personal save file, but I'd be fine if you built one. I'm creating a few art clubs in my game and I need a meeting place for them.

Gorgeous. I would love to be able to have lots be more than one thing. It would be great, especially for the bigger lots, where you can have more than one label. For example, having a café in a museum ( common in real life), or having a bar next to shops.
Thanks for putting soap dispensers and toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. Even though it's decorative it really bugs me when people leave those things out of their builds.
Maybe instead of a normal boring museum, you could make it interactive! :D So you have themed rooms/sections like a physics section with suiting decorations but especially stuff where the Sims can train their skills :D I'd love that :D In Germany there's something like that. It's called phaeno (because of phänomen - phenomenon) and I went there like two or three times with the school back then and it's got a lot about science and biology, but also some activities ranging from art to sports to anything you'd want kinda :D I think it'd be a great idea for the Sims :D
I think that the museum should either be an art gallery or kept as a museum - but more like a kids science center. So you could have the science table or something
I know this video is a year and a half old, but I just got into ts4. I loved this, so I had to download it. Now, I don’t have all the packs used in the build, so ea subbed some of the items. The substitutions just made me laugh so much: for one of the signs outside, they subbed a ceramic pig; for the files on the desks, they subbed gnomes; for the cash register, they subbed kitchen utensils!😂😂😂
I love this build so much, you’ve improved it loads 😃It’s perfect for my sim who has a book club because they could read and then discuss books in the cafe afterwards 💖 I love all your builds but this is definitely one that I will use loads, can’t wait for your save file 💞
I think it’d be better to change the museum! I never take my sims there anyways, there’s nothing to do and it’s very boring. I think it’d be fantastic to have a wedding venue or even a store there to go to. Maybe even a child’s or teen’s hangout/play area?

The book shelves for selling books, drives me crazy. I tried making a book store once and it lasted all of 10 minutes. Everyone kept taking the books off the shelves and just reading them, even if they were for sale. I do think part of my issue was that I was trying to sell my authors books in the store. It was frustrating though. As for the museum, in one of my saves I made it into a more industrial/modern wedding venue. It was labelled as an art museum and had a bar.

Maybe a movie theater instead of the museum. I agree that museum's are kinda boring in the Sims and I think a movie theater would fit perfect in this setting. Just a thought.
