Someone might pave Willow Springs and put up a parking lot.

How about a motorsports country club similar to Thermal and Spring Mountain but catering to a less well-heeled clientele. Is there a viable business model there?

Another race track in jeopardy?

Would love if there was a NASCAR race there. Obviously they need a repave, some walls/rails put up and some more grand stands/concession areas.

Emilia will not buy it I bet. Cost in new property taxes alone will eat all finanicial gains.

To anyone who buys this track, there going to be some resistance they will have to endure. 1) track noise as residents in the surrounding areas have bene and will continue to complain about the noise and crowd associated with these tracks. This is where the cancel culture has taken over. 2) it would cost billions of dollars to revamp this track. 3) insurances rated are too high as to allow for racing 4) the track would have to have a waver stating that if your crash while on the track, the track has the right to confiscate your car no if's and's or but's. 5) implement a sound ordnance which means NO open pipes all cars would need a stock exhaust system to keep the noise level at a minimum. 6) NO ONE wants to travel into California to drive this track.. Two states to avoid is CA and NY for racing. 7) the Cancel culture would have you drive electric cars on these tracks. So if one is lucky enough to buy this track.. Best follow some or all of my suggestions, best turn it into a closed club course.

From a business perspective, the biggest drawback is that it’s in California. The State is going to take a huuuge chunk of the money you’d otherwise spend on upgrades and repairs. Taxes, fees, licenses, insurance requirements… I owned a business in CA for years and, let me tell you, there’s a reason entrepreneurs are moving out of CA, not into it. I love Willow dearly, but that’s an uphill battle for any investor.
