It's interesting Wim does not mention the number of seconds required breathing inhale/exhale like most people who practise breathing exercises

partially because they're focused on different regions, Wim Hof's breathing is a pretty agressive type, it's stressful to your body, although it relaxes you, you're completely overwhelming many sensors of your brain with it, whilst a lot of others are just meant for relaxation or steady progress. I am not a Doctor, so this is strongly paraphrased and just re-told but there's a lot of good sources that explain what this (and other breathing methods) cause in your body, it's good to look up if you're looking to achieve something specific.
