@ well, it does have an insane turn time with about a billion flares (I think it has 2x as much as the A7 does) and it has pretty good air to air missles.
I cried through this, i remember when there were only war thunder ads on youtube in 2013 and planes were the only thing that were there and only a few jets, im so proud of gaijin now! Like look what they did, its BEAUTIFUL

The f14/a10 have been in service since the 70’s (although the f14 is retired for obvious reasons) and can still fit the role of warthunder dogfighting given they introduce bigger maps. The f35 and f22’s are designed to engage from miles away, they would not fit in any metric
@@sethjansson5652 Some of us have been playing longer than the game has been "officially released." Some of us were in it when it was in beta and closed beta. There used to be 20 tiers and country ranks and you couldn't play vehicles higher than your country rank. They forced you to cut your teeth in the lower tiers before progressing. The ME 262s were the highest planes in the game back then and there was talk of adding in early post war Migs. Oh, the good old days.
Well, you won´t hear it much since those big bois will get yoinked on spawn by some Tangi or whatever. It´s not like we urgendly need some better game modes before getting jammed with unusable vehicles. Loved the fact the sound of the gun is masked by the cloud of smoke so that it's the sound of the gun on which the viewer is focused. Then the plane that makes that sound appears to affirm that chill in our spine.
Personally I am excited for the LAVs, we might get the AT, and 25 variant sometime in the future. Don’t expect to see the other variants though C2, L, M, and I forgot the last one.

Probably not good, unless its super undertiered. As with everythign in this game how good somethign is depends very heavily at what BR they put it. But in the end its a jet thats barely faster than a P51H at low altitude (and slower at higher altitudes).
Considering that it's only meant to be used with Air superiority established, it'll get shredded by SAMs like any other ground attack which are only meant to be used with air superiority established. Though the pilot should be a little more protected from tank-small arms than your average jet.

So at :28 seconds in, LAV25 has its stinger pod, and a rocket pod. The one at :35-:38 has both stinger pods. Maybe its a glitch or maybe they are showing off that you could switch the pods you have. Who knows!
In real life the LAV AD has the 2 load outs the 8 stingers and the 4 stingers and rocket pod. I am gonna to assume you get the 4 stingers and the rocket pod stock then you can research the 8 stingers load out

It kinda looks like there is wind at themoment the A-10 appears for the first time. The smoke is going to the left and so are some sparks from an explosion. The A-10 is also not flying straight if you look close enough like Phly already pointed out. It might just be to make the trailer look good I dont see any practical use of wind other than more realism
They have heavily reduced their activities on RU-vid and in other social media. In a tweet say said: "we believe that war should only stay in video games". I think they don't find it fitting to post war related content right now, but only make exceptions for update news and live streams.

A10's effectiveness will depend on the range of it's guided weaponry. Getting close enough to strafe with the 30mm will likely result in getting blasted out of the sky by spaa.

It is a receiver only, allowing the pilot to see which targets may be attacked by any laser-guided bombs they carry. The Pave Penny does not produce a laser beam and cannot be used to designate targets. It was designed to be used with designators on the ground or on other aircraft. Hmmmmm 🤔

It might sound weird, but in the first scene where we see the plane pop into view, the gun sound gives me some gozilla roars vibes, funnily enough. Just that meaty sound in the distance, it's just lovely.
I cant wait to fly this in pilotage. I mean it will be very useless in ground rb unless there are no enemy SPAA or aircraft, then it will be usefull just like it is irl, however matches like those are so rare and few between its going to be just an aircraft to use in air rb and try grind it using bombs to use spaded in pilotage or customs.
This is straight up a different game than one i fell in love with in 2013 It honestly makes me kinda sad but cool to see all the stuff they’ve added since I stopped playing

Once they said that you would recognise the signal when you hear it, I had an inkling, but wow the reveal, the most uniquely recognisable sound on the modern battlefield. Insane the number of hardpoints Also any clue on soundtrack?
Goddammit I really want to love this game, that is so cool the A10 is coming but adding different game modes and focusing on mechanics would really bring this game to life
@@bananaarmour2113 imo gameplay is leagues more important than graphics, i had allot of fun playing low quality on my laptop when I started playing, but until they do some more for the game I'm staying away
