Best and most explained video. It is very much the way I would have done it. I wish the velcro part was included to finish up the whole job. Great job Sir.

Get the weatherproof emergency blanket tarps things you can find them at Walmart in the camping section they're a little thicker they have a reflective side and a colored side but they are made for things like going over your tent or in this case your camper bunks and they take the heat off extremely on top of reflectix double bubble insulation foil in each window your camper will stay nice and cool in the summer and nice and warm in the winter

Thanks for watching my video. After using the camper only a few times this summer I sold it to my ex-sister-in-law. It was hard to camp without my wife.

Don't be bummed out! That's very neat and you only need to get at the controls maybe 2 or 3 times in a whole day. Super good! Looks good! But by the end you had got that sorted:)

Yeah, I'm really glad I did this. I'll never camp without an air conditioner again. And as I mentioned neither will my wife. Thanks for watching

Hey there! Wanting to do something similar to this with our popup, and have a couple questions. Why did you decide to place the mounting brackets and AC unit in that particular spot? I think personally I’d prefer to have ours on the other side of the camper but wanted to make sure there wasn’t a specific reason the spot you used might be best. Also, have you noticed if the weight of the AC unit pulls the roof out of alignment at all? For our camper, if it is just a little unlevel our door has a hard time opening/closing and don’t want something like this to make that harder. From the comments it’s seems you’re not using this rig anymore, but wondering if you have any thoughts to share? Thanks!

@@JamitinThereRepair Thank you sir I have a question would 30amps be enough to run the roof A.C and one of these small window units also?
@JamitinThereRepair
@JamitinThereRepair 2 года назад
@@davenstorm7271 I run mine on it's own 110 extension cord to the camp power. I think it needs 15A to run.

Great job, this is exactly what I’m looking for. I have a Coleman Laredo 1997, that has the exact same outside and canvas set up as yours. One thing I don’t understand though, what is the purpose of adding the metal grate to the back of the A/C unit?
@JamitinThereRepair
@JamitinThereRepair Год назад
The back of the air conditioning unit is the evaporator coil. It has very fine fins that will bend very easily. The grate is there to try to save the fins from being bent over.

What did you do to the crank? Did you tap it and put black iron on it?
@JamitinThereRepair
@JamitinThereRepair 2 года назад
The crank was modified by the last owner with some plumbing pipes. I made the crank longer to make it easy to put up. Thanks for watching.
