If you're having the problem I was the problem being that your screen wasnt put to the borders just go to radon display and look at specs it will say what the maximum specs you have is and just set the resolution to that

Thanks, my display setting changed to extented and it was annoying but now I can change it between extended display and normal 1 size display aswell.

I agree with you about the control centers. I am set and happy with what I have and I fear this new updated Windows stuff is gonna send me screaming and tearing my hair. Ugh! I like SIMPLE. Its my favorite word. Microsoft seems addicted to high tech complicated stuff. It is beyond my addled brain's capacity to figure it out.

Dude, I am so grateful! In the past I just connected the two tv/moniter with the HDMI, display settings, duplicate and I was watching. But today in the settings window it did show two screens but refused to detect the 2nd. Refused to acknowledge it and yet it was clear there were two screens shown before me! Total head scratch until I found your tutorial. Opened the AMD catalyst control panel as instructed and extended and WHAM! Bam! It is fixed. Most grateful to you for pointing out this extra step. I would never have thought of such a thing especially since I have been successful using display settings window for years. Perhaps I missed an update or upgrade or it was an update that has now added this extra step. Thanks again. Be well my friend!

I somehow got my two displays extended through Nvidia and I just want my monitors to be normal. I hate how third party software takes over my pc. Its been three days. I can't properly work on my projects nor play games or movies because of the stupid extended view. Im about to burn this hole system to the ground and build a new one. 64 gigs of ram and it still hangs up because of the Nvidia software. I dont have the fastest card its a 2080oc so I dont understand why its so bloated.

SOLUTION to my windows external display setting woes. My screen resolution setting is correct but the scale is off (zoomed in / taskbar off screen / fuzzy). This setting (1360x768 for an LG monitor) used to work but suddenly didn't when I tried a different resolution and reverted. So after trying everything else, I adjusted the monitor's screen refresh rate. Switched it to it's lowest value and reverted before the timer was up and BAM for whatever reason my external is the right scale now. Hope this helps someone...

ok, so my monitor on the right side, you have to move the mouse all the way to the right to get it to the screen on the right
