My mother loves your work, she usually listens to them while she cooks or I help her clean, it really surprises me that she found such a cool and niche artist.
@@alexparrot5000 you know. she could've also been a teenager. it's kinda wild to me how someone as young as 6 in 2010 is now able to have kids. time goes by so fast.
two original albums, one collab album, and we’re not even four months into the year yet…i don’t even know what to say but we’re eating good this year 😂
@@poetsrear every Windows96 album released since 2016 is completely original. He may use samples in some tracks, but they don't form the basis of the track and are heavily reworked. In short, he doesn't just chop up the music and slow it down.
One Hundred Mornings: taking a bike ride down the montain in a sparkling blue sky day Enchanted Instrumentals and Whispers: taking a hot bath in a glass pool in a spaceship far far away from earth Empty Hidding World: being part of a tribe when mythologies are being created in a paralel earth timeline How to see Through Wall: being a factory worker in a post apocaliptic cartoon world where industries took over the world Dated new Aesthetic: going on a vacation in a resort in the middle of a tropical forest in a vr world 19999: give me a month…
Pure coincidence that today, I listened to the previous album for the second time (since I last listened live on release), and this crops up. Wunderbar!
Modern day uses tech to create things that are soulless. The 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s used technology to create things that had just about nothing BUT soul put into them. All of that seems so dead now. All the things I grew up with felt so full of life in comparison to the things I see the poor children growing up with now… Windows96 gets the vibe of the old days entirely. In-house produced vaporwave that sounds like liquid nostalgia. God, how everything has changed so much.
windows96 on a run this year! DNA was great, then the collab album, and now this one too. especially in love with this one on first listen, thanks for blessing us 🙏
Love this, the visual aspect of these videos continues to get better. You seem to keep evolving into a stronger form each time like some sort of vaporwave pokemon. Godspeed.
this is up there with some of his best work. tons of great songs on this one, to name a couple "sometimes ahead", and "nevermind" evoke so much emotion. classic album for sure
Finally hearing the second half of Dream Place was a dream come true, after 3 years. I hadn't looked at the track list yet and got so excited when the first part came on, and then the transition to the next was just beautiful. New Realization is also such a banger.
