Thanks for the travel back in time. Most of the old black and white photos I recognize. I was surprised to see the old Capitol Theater. When I lived there, there was the Capitol, the Vanity and the Palace theatres. I remember Smith's store downtown and Kresges, and the Metropolitan which had a horrendous explosion killing several people. I miss the old place but at my age, likely will never see it again.
And here in my new city Kitchener, they put in street cars, after everyone else got rid of them like 100 years ago. So stupid. There's this thing, called a BUS, that can easily go anywhere and is far superior to a technology that requires rails.
