This is the first Chet song I learned some years ago. There's quite a few different version of Chet doing this one throughout his lifetime here on RU-vid. I stole various licks from a number of those performances (as Chet would say, "petty theft!") and borrowed the opening and closing from the version Steve Wariner plays in concert.
Windy and Warm was most notably released in 1962 on his record, "Down Home," though Chet did record and release a version a short time earlier as a single which didn't receive much success.
