I had to re-upload the video folks! A company which shall remain nameless nailed me for copyright infringement (which as a music law major...IT WASN'T) but anyways here is the video that was supposed to go up on Tuesday to start out the schedule! These gloves have a lot of history and for a muay thai gloves, it doesn't get much better than Windy! I wish more places used Windy and I wish Windy was a little bigger than they are today but you will learn about their history in this video. Also, since the video was taken down yesterday I must stick to my Tuesday Thursday Saturday schedule so...TWO VIDS IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS FROM EACH OTHER. See ya tomorrow folks.

I saw your review on this glove last night and just recieved my 12 oz pair today from Amazon. Everything you said in your review is on point. The leather quality and padding density is similar to Fairtex and the shape is similar to twins, so It's obvious what aspects of Windy inspired Fairtex and Twins. It's an excellent glove in my opinion, no fancy bells and whistles. Just a work horse of a glove that will get the job done. It's stiff out of the box as exptected, it has excellent wrist protection but at the same time I was able to slide my (unwrapped) hand out of the glove like you said in your review, but it's not something that will occur unless you're actively trying to pull your hand out of the glove.

Nice review. Very thorough. And even though English is not my primary language, i can understand you very well. So i would like to request a review of Fairtex gloves if you havent done any.

COnsidering Windy as my next pair for sparring :) How's the "pillowness" compared to the twins bgvl3? How's the wrist support compared to the twins bgvl3/Fairtex bgv1?

Hey would you say these are too big in any way? I'm 5ft 8. 75kg and looking at getting some 16oz gloves. Great reviews btw.
@combat_corp

They are a bigger glove BUT if you are around 87 kg which to me is 190 pounds, 16 oz should do fine

Hey I was wondering how these compare to the Fairtex F-Day gloves? I see that you have them on the wall. I got the F-Day and was thinking of returning them for the Windys
@combat_corp
@combat_corp 4 года назад
It really depends on what type of guy you are when it comes to punching. Personally the F days are great and they are a good microfiber glove. If you like more of a classic thai glove that is slightly bigger than most, go for Windy. If you like a boxing glove that opens easy, stick with the F days

Hai man, just wondering, does windy have a velcro problem? Saw from some review about the velcro having some problem, just wondering if thata the case from your own experience?
@zhengmin8043
@zhengmin8043 2 года назад
I own a windy bgvh, the Velcro doesn't seems to have any problem but the wrist support is just isn't that great because of how roomy and wide the glove is. If you have a skinny long hand I wouldn't recommend you windy. Ive always had writs pain after bag work with it.

From what I have gathered, the BGVH is somewhat smaller. I feel like they are probably smaller. Not sure though I am somewhat stumped I am sorry!

Yes it's a great review. I bought a pair of Twins a couple of months ago, and they're very tight, and they're not very comfortable at all. So I have a real doubt about buying a Windy or o Hayabusa T3 pair for a hard heavy bag training? What could you recommend me for best?
@Metaltrippin2
@Metaltrippin2 10 месяцев назад
It’s supposed to be tight to protect your wrist and hands and then as you use them they break in and form fit your hand

Hey man. Really digging the reviews. I would just recommend slowing down when you speak. You are super prepared but it makes you speak a bit fast and you lose enunciation. Especially in your intro. Watched a few videos and I still don't know what your name is cause you save your whole intro in one breath. Hopefully this doesn't come off as rude
@almarro5643
@almarro5643 4 года назад
Not rude at all! Honestly it makes me laugh because I just imagine a rambling oaf spewing off the things per second. I've always talked really fast sometimes it helped but you're right not here. My name is Al "The Postmaster" Marro by the way, that's what the intro always is. Thank you so much for the comment. It'll be fixed next review
