I hope something happens with the seal population at the Delta. I typically get to fish up there at least once a year. Every year there is more and more sea lions. They know where these fish Bed and they clear em out real quick. I don't see it getting better unless something aggressive is done.

@@jayp9279 unfortunately nothing will happen as they are Federally protected, they are an extreme problem out here, but bass will adapt and find places to hide. A lot of areas that used to be really good fishing out here don’t even house anything anymore, it takes a lot of searching to find that active bite.

Just curious, when you're punching what does it do when you put your finger under the line in front of the reel? I'm new to this. Is that just so you can get more feel on the line for a bite?

Yes all it is for is to feel the bite a little more clearly, sometimes these fish inhale it on the way down and you won’t feel a bite with the stout punch rod.

Does the Windy Wednesday night tournament allow you to drive your boat to the dock and enter their tourney as opposed to trailering your boat and getting in line? I got my boat at a close by launch facility and it’s a shorter drive in the boat than it is trailering behind my truck. Thanks!

Yes you can do that, just have to walk over and let the TD know, so you can get a livewell check and pay.

Night and day difference from a chesty, so comfortable and lightweight you don’t even know it’s there. Only complaint is I have to tie up the beard so it doesn’t get in the shot other than that I would 100% say to buy it.
