We head off wild camping in the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons Wales UK. Starting at Glyntawe we head north west along the Beacons Way over Allt Fach and along the beautiful Fan Hir ridge with panoramic views over to Pen y Fan, then following the Beacons Way to Fan Brycheiniog the highest peak of the Black Mountain at over 800 meters with stunning views of Llyn y Fan Fawr (the great lake). Heading west over to Picws Du where we pitch the tents for a wild camp with amazing views over looking Llyn y Fan Fach (little lake near the peak) with an incredible sunset as the wind started to pick up with strong winds throughout the night.
After a windy night we pack up and head down the mountain to the lake Llyn y Fan Fach and follow the path under the mountains over to other lake Llyn y Fan Fawr and following the river through Fan Fechan with waterfalls and beautify scenery all the way back to Glyntawe.

Happy days Alan & Phil, boy, didn’t have to wait long for this one!😊 Amazing scenery and filming guys, must have been fun and a good work out at the same time, given the ascent. I learnt a lot from your Welsh pronunciations too, what with the south west twang😂! Really fab night lapse and trust you slept really well 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ - weather forecasters eh?! I reckon the wind starts to pick up just after you pitch your tents, and then dies down when you’ve packed up 🤔Hope Alan’s wounds heal before your next outing - eyes on the ground in front, eh Alan? Onwards and upwards peeps! Cheers and thanks as always, Pete

Hello Pete, firstly thank you for your comment. We are glad you enjoy watching our videos', the more we do the better we get (so we hope 🤣). The scenery was absolutely cracking and worth every step. We cannot speak welsh to save our lives, we had a good laugh trying 😜. Sleep was non existent thanks to the weatherman. Time lapses are getting better over time 👍. Just spoke to Alan and he said he is 100 % again ready for the next instalment. Once again Pete thank you for your comment, onwards and upwards, happy days cheers Phil 👍

Yea definitely glad we had the Soulo's that night, was a tad savage. You should definitely get up to Wales Jay the views are cracking, Llyn y Fan Fach is stunning and worth the slog up. Thanks for the appreciation on the editing (trying to improve as time goes on). Alans foot is fine, he's just a wimp 🤣. All the best Jay, Phil 👍
