After some rain there was a tiny bit of wind so i took my chances...
There where some gusts around 10 knots every few minutes.
Otherwise the wind was around 8 knots.

@@apricotscrub you mean the one at 01:34 ? This is called a "race gybe", very good for light wind ;-)

Hello Gust Hunter, How much does it help to have a bigger / longer board to take off? I see you have F-One rocket 5.3 and Seven Seas 1400, but wouldnt it be better to have longer board with smaller foil e.g. Rocket Sup Downwind 6.2 and Eagle 1090? I am big fan of your content :). I bought myself Eagle 1090 as I watched your videos. I also have CWC 8m, but I am not sure about my board for light wind: RRD Beluga 90l. I weight 78 kg. Can you recommend me a board? Thanks :)

Bigger board = more surface area = more resistance. If you are athletic go with your body weight +5 liters for maximum efficiency i would say.

Great session! I can see you use F1 Strikes these days but IIRC you used to own Ensis 6m? I'm 75kg and on Ensis Score 4.5m and looking for light wind option. Where I live, Ensis Score 6.2 is almost half the price of F1 CWC 7. Was there a huge difference in light winds between your Ensis 6m and your current CWC 7? I'd appreciate your comments, thanks!

Hi, i would say it is personal preference. 6.2 seems like a good size. If you are 75kg and have your technique on point you do not need to go bigger than 6m i think. You get a little more power with 7 or 8 meters but you loose pumping ability and efficiency. Hope this helps.
