Absolutely insane build!

I'm so sorry I couldn't make the premiere. This thing is absolutely beautiful! I can't get enough of that wood grain effect haha, must give that a go. Nice one james! Edit: Also, forgot to mention, very nice camera work mate 👍 all came off in the end!

Next time you use super glue as a filer but a bit of talcom powered in it works really good

UV glue good for fixing wires,just pull against hook with blob of UV glue then fix with UV torch.Wheels stand out brilliantly with lozenge pattern,tempted to pull out the Roland CII.

Interesting job, it turned out well. I'd myself make my own turnbuckles and use the .012 fishing line with .05 brass tube.

Beautiful. How long does the elastic rigging last? I haven't had any luck with a elastic rigging product. It only last about three or five months before it snaps. I've done tests on diffrent tensions and no luck. I kind of thought the early wheels (rubber) was a gray or brownish color? As I have been told, black rubber is a modern additive. You must have one hell of a supplier with all those diffrent paints. Awesome work. Thank you.

Great build! I appreciate a color scheme that avoids using lozenge decals. I've yet to figure those out and am skeptical that the decal colors will silver over time. Then there is also for me something wrong about covering so much surface area of a model with decals.

Hi James, This one slipped by without me noticing. What a fantastic build. New camera and what appears to be better lighting has really upped the quality which was great anyway. What a shame that WNW has gone and I am thankful for the stash that I panic bought last year. Maybe they will reappear in the future. I am glad that the Lancaster is coming out under the Border Model label but having my sensible head on doubt very much that I will get one. Too pricey and where the hell would I put it and I could imagine that it would be a real mojo killer, still would like one though. I wonder if the promised Handley Page 0/100 may appear from another manufacturer. I would love one of those. Mind you I have a Gotha G.IV and Felixstowe in the stash already and they are beyond my skill set/patience at the moment. Thanks for another great video. Best wishes, Mark P.S. Amazing work! I'll have to try that wood grain technique. Btw. have you tested if your rigging wires can be heat shrunk like the Uschi van der Rosten wires. If so you don't have to glue them under tension, in my experience a soldering iron works best to heatshrink rigging wires.

James, I'm curious as to why you chose to use lozenge on the wheel covers and nowhere else. I, too, built this kit about 2 years ago and used the full wing lozenges so it matches the wheel covers. Having said that, the setting and situating of the lozenge on the entire wing was quite nerve-racking. Your airbrushing skills are outstanding; what sort of airbrush do you use? I couldn't quite tell if it was an H & S.

A superb video with plenty of skill, not only in bringing the kit together but your skill in painting and weathering an iconic model. May I say your choice in choosing Tron Legacy background music (or something sounding similar to it) was sublime. Thank you. Mike

A very enjoyable built set, very educational and I found it enjoyable. I have some Wingnut Wings kits myself, but will not start on them until I have gained a little more experience. Like starting with some of the Roden, Special Hobby or Copper State Models set.

With insignia, especially with those as simple as the two styles of iron crosses, you really should paint them on. Other than that. Great model. Well done. 👍👍 Thanks for sharing your work. 😉🤙
