Wingover Training with a nice session launching from Mt. Titlis and landing in Engelberg.
No thermal activity on a north face, whilst a wall of fog is moving in over the landing area, gives a good reason for a fast wingover session on the way down.

Hey, same launch used in the X-Alps! I like the handles you installed on the A3. How are they attached?

Yes, same place, but launched in a different direction than the athletes during the X-Alps. Regarding the handles: I drilled two holes the width of the riser in the wooden handle and tied it once around the whole riser and once through the little attachment piece which holds the brake popper. No damage to the riser - everything can be reversed. It is fastened super tightly without any play and therefore I have much better control than with the default handles, where only two of my fingers would fit in 😄

@@NelsonsWings yes, the Delta 4's system is much better anyways. Hope that the new cloth colors for the Alpina 4 arrive soon at Ozone

Are you pulling brakes right below your wing?

Inside Brake when you are right under the wing, outside break as soon as you feel you need to support the wing from collapsing. Aggressive weight shift at highest point above the glider, let go of the brakes soon after when you feel increasing pressure, repeat. Remember that weight shift is 80% of the wing over, brakes with only a bit of weight shift will not let you build enough energy to really go high. Happy practicing - this needs a loooong time to get dialed in
