I swear Meryl is one of those people that just gets more beautiful with age. It's unreal. I was never really into Figure Skating/Ice Dancing, but everytime Charlie and Meryl were on T.V., I had to watch. They were just that good. I'm so proud they skated for the USA! Super conversation, as always, with Meryl and Charlie. They also were so talented and such artists (but never focus on that). I remember every single program they put out, since c. 2007. I go back (in 2019) and re-watch their gorgeous programs (music, choreography, costumes, the way they 'matched' so well, as well as some of the stunning lifts, etc.). They were my favorite ice-dance duo during their entire competitive tenure (they just had an "it" factor that drew me in, much as the French duo -- Gabriella and Guillaume -- have pulled me in since 2014). And Meryl and Charlie always handled themselves with intelligence and humbleness and grace; and they continue to do the same in any platforms they have currently (speaking or skating in ice-shows).

what a wonderful pair of ice skaters, they had me fooled! i truely believed they were in love with each other. i really credit marina and coaches, and scott and tessa, this pushed both of them. i agree with marina that no one looks like them. marina, you are my favorite choreographer and you were lucky to have each other!
