Thank you NZF for these updates. I am disappointed but not surprised of the low intellect of the opposition. Thanks once again, for standing up to these radicals on behalf of the majority.
@@tonywood3660 whether I am or not, the important thing is that you get some help. PS given the fact it appears that Biden is mentally unstable, the sensible choice would be Trump over someone of your caliber.
Because it takes a political vote of 75%+ to do it. Like it or not previous government in their stupidity made it so the racist maori party is here to stay.
@@giltee626 really i was not aware i just thought it required a majority, where are you getting this 75% requirement from? thank you for your interesting info
@@kiwisrule6757 Ha ha, the old Winebox Inquiry! Winston's best was in 1992 and even that turned out to be a bit of a non-event. Drunken uncle will be his political epithet. He's worked hard for it.🤣
"rangatahi at school" Is that not disguised racial discrimination by using a "reo" word to imply adolescent of Māori ancestry? I'm with Winston Peters on this!
Te pati Maori is racist. Maori are not tribal they a racial. Ngapuhi is completely different race to Waikato. There's no such thing as Maori as a race of people. Maori simply means normal. This word Maori can be applied to Australia Aboriginal which in itself can be applied to every country on the planet.
"I have a dream..." that famous speech by the late Martin Luther King, comes to mind. The vast majority of New Zealanders want to live in harmony - let's hear some positivity towards this goal, from the opposition and especially minority parties.
Martin Luther King Jr. also famously said, "True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice." This quote emphasizes the importance of justice in achieving lasting peace and harmony within society. King believed that social order and stability could only be achieved when underlying injustices were addressed and rectified. He advocated for nonviolent resistance as a means to challenge systemic inequality and discrimination, ultimately striving for a society based on equality, dignity, and justice for all.
MLK advocated for about social justice and equality with sensitivity, empathy, and an understanding of historical and systemic injustices. However, you have taken out of context his words to invalidate the concerns and experiences of Maori. You are conflicted by the activism of the Maori party and others who challenge the status quo.
@@user-oo4zo8yy5u - John Lenon wanted to 'give peace a chance' and to see an end to the Vietnam war. Didn't end well for both MLK and JL. Kissinger once said, "To be an enemy of America is risky but to be friend of America is fatal."
Te Pati got an good answer.Albeit, not the one she wanted. Racism here is a perceived privileged group in our society, Maori, and someone calling them out and saying so. Winston has done that. Te Pati should accept it and change their attitude. Why are they forever thinking they are victims!!
Aye bro, we live with Rascism every day in Aoteraroa u guys rubbish Maori Party? Well, points made in a statement....I don't like Winston, he's past his use by date most n Parliament if not past they're not part of Maori future its race card for NATIONAL👎🏽
@@angebrowne1371 If certain (part) Maori endeavoured to join the modern world they'd earn a lot more credibility. They're certainly as capable as anyone of doing so. Heck, Chinese and Indians with next to no English come here and routinely do better than the whinger-grievance brand of Maori.
@angebrowne1371 maorification results in rampant corruption, poor outcomes, and mediocrity. Therefore the thinking New Zealander doesn't want anything to do with maorification.
Is this acase of the pot calling the kettle black mr speaker. Winston is on to them. When will te pati start coming up with some descent qustions and and problem solving .?.
No more Māori seats. No more Māori parties they are racist. New Zealand is a multiracial country and it won’t be changing. One people one government for everyone and the same rules and laws for everyone as well. Freedom of faith speech and medical. Human rights upheld.
He anawered her question ,and his last comment was a nice dig,she couldnt handle it and it became her focus, coz she had nothing. This party asks questions that are easily and factual answered exposing there ignorance and stupidity
It is the "victim" Maori party that continually flag it up. They really need to be positive and work "with" the government for the benefit of Maori generally
No Winston’s a seller of snake oil. I like what I hear from him but remember New Zealand is only where it is today because he put labour in for 6 years.
Well done my old friend and (acting) Prime Minister, handled this objectionable objection well. This party, whose leader Mr Waititi was caught on mic (independent and crowd funded NZ movie "River of Freedom") from his parliamentary privilege, denigrating New Zealanders in parliament grounds seeking an answer from the elected. Mr Waititi is a disgrace for his comments - no media has held to account any "leaders" making these antidemocratic statements against Kiwis questioning their common law rights of choice to many things. Thank you Mr Peters you were the only parliamentarian who had the decency and guts to talk with people in the grounds of parliament.
As a proud ,School bus driver, I can state that from what I see both on the bus and whilst waiting to pick up young people is no racist behaviour and it is very heartning.
Sorry but the state of the Maori party, really? Has anyone of them thought to say thank you for what the"pakeha", the"coloniser" saved them from? Maybe a week in the bush might remind them how lucky they actually are instead of a grievance mentality and a grievance train...
Forcing a group of people to assimilate into a more technologically advanced society doesn't excuse the fact that for many Maori their land was confiscated, their language was taken out of schools and they were confined to poverty
In my opinion New Zealand has gone into a recession and all of Parliament should be working together to pull everyone through this recession so that living standards can be lifted which could lead to a better life for all. The opposition parties should stop with their petty stuff and by helping New Zealand they help everyone.
Most sincere and thoughtful comment ae kei te whakaae hoki au I'm not a coalition supporter but the pettiness and personal attacks dividing races and people more from their tapu and mana is not the right way to go. Working together sharing and doing things without expectation is the way of our forefathers.
If you put a criminal, of 10% Māori/90% European, in front of the court in NZ... what ethnicity is that criminal filed under?? It doesn't matter how many ethnic boxes you tick btw. When will one ethnicity, stop getting the 'get out of jail free' card ?
Maori MPs are the racial problem in parliament, Changing the name of this country, Maori MPs are splitting this country in two, Maori are not indigenous race, the Moriori were here first, they would be the indigenous race, Maori wiped them out taking their land plus eating them, Maori MPs never mentioned or talk about this history. Every New Zealander has the same rights, in all aspects of this country. We all live under one umbrella, Good on you Winston. Its about time someone told the truth.
Sorry mate, these assertions of yours reflect misunderstandings, misrepresentations, and harmful stereotypes about Maori and New Zealand's history. Addressing racism and promoting inclusivity requires respectful dialogue, accurate understanding of history, and a commitment to addressing systemic inequalities. You lack moral agency, have nothing meaningful to offer to the matter and you're actually part of the problem.
It is NEW ZEALAND and always will be.Thousands died for the name ,including the last real maori warriors "THE MAORI BATALLION"These days you tattoo your face and your'e a warrior........
Why dont u tell the maori how much $ labour gave to maori so maori can get angry with there own for not shareing money its discusting how maori keeps blackmailing the rest of us
Definitely keen on harsher consequences for racism. I am in my 50s do all my prescriptions on line and have done so for the last 4 years. I don’t go to hospital if I have a sniff snivel or cold stay at home if I am really sick worked pretty much all my life never been on the dole nor will I ever never been on the news complaining about what I don’t have but want and or will never have oh did I mention I was white and white doesn’t count because you have to be of colour but I do have 1/64th Ngapuhi in me so gee Go Figure. Get over yourselves and get a life
Also I don’t do Mosques or religious stuff unless a funeral and I don’t expect an event that took place almost 5 years ago by a deranged Ozzie should need an enquiry into why the first responders didn’t respond faster FFS when over in Gaza some guy named Yahoo is killing the exact same people and is still killing them 6 months later at least our first responders had this guy within an hour or so but that is not good enough for the minority of any denomination that want to plead hard done by, mis represented, dis advantaged unheard overlooked trodden on not valued disrespected mis treated although most of these people have come here either by canoe or plane and still feel this country owes them something more
If an individual knowingly accuse others of racism for political reasons, it could be seen as a calculated tactic aimed at gaining leverage, discrediting opponents, or mobilizing support. This behavior exploits sensitive social issues for personal or political gain, potentially exacerbating societal divisions and undermining genuine efforts to combat racism. It reflects a prioritization of political interests over ethical principles and may contribute to a climate of distrust and polarization. Ultimately, such actions can erode public trust in political processes and impede constructive dialogue on issues of race and equality.
i be suprise if they come back with an answer, majority in Goverment are racist and they use their position to act innocent and denying being so..body language will expose them..
yep!!!, with this Goverment with the way they are going, talk talk talk promises promises and still nothing done, so much for putting New Zealand back on track, lol, right on que, BACKWARDS..
