My wife is niuean maori. Your ears would burn with what she says about some maori. I've talked to a lot of maori. One of them, she was real cool. She believes we are all one, one nation, one country. Which is true. We all live in this country. Why be like south africa?!
My son is part Māori and Te pati Māori really concern me . They come across as quite aggressive. They don’t seem to care about the well-being of all New Zealanders or the country as a whole . Being aggressive isn’t going to win public favour.
Probably need to read some history books , who do you think has been most subjected to racism in New Zealand since the beginning of colonialism, I think we all know the answer to that😊
@@mikebutler2761what a load of rubbish. Good old tit for tat then. Always solved problems. You would know that as an avid history reader I guess. Feel now You’ve got a bunch of racism credits in the bank that are free to use. Childish!
This is an unfortunate truth. The Maori party are just separatists and theyve done nothing for maori people. We need better maori representatives. Thank you uncle Winston! For being one of the only very few good maori in parliament and thank you for the work you do for this country!
How can you say that? I know some Māori party members personally and they have worked tirelessly for decades for their people. You just take on Peters words without any fact checking. No wonder they become more radical with you lot judging.
@@zionnejaqzon4476 Ffs gold card just for starters. What have you done for Maori? Apart from get the benefit. And why do you hide behind a false name/non de plume?
How it really is oml you have no idea how it really is!! Like how maori were raped and beaten into submission? Or forced to learn another way because it was much more better? Or coerced to live a life with centuries worth of greed, control, murder, abuse and poverty to mention a few. Tipicle comment from another rogue road runner who feels that they were given their right to be here, who also feel that being one people is an even slate. So humor me what is that comment meant to mean by Boom telling t THEM like it is!! Who is THEM. Are you not wanting to share!! Word being SHARE!! THEM. . . . I sense that as a racist remark!! Now you are really are not being real. . .!
@@Tiaki973 the truth couldn't be further from what you just said, take a look at the ethnic groups/immigration rates and you will see the maori/pakeha thing will be a relic from the dust bowl of the past while chinese run this galapagos 😂
It's easy for people to talk. All the while what's winny done for us.... he signed ANZUK .... nuclear submarine program ..... he's a sell out and just tried telling us he isn't.
@@olliemoose2020the media have learnt nothing from the last election. They don't understand that the general public has lost all faith in most re ability to be neutral, honest non racist and one sided in reporting political events and news. Maiki Sherman is a good example.

C-Lux and the Smash Bros. don't give a fuck about 'New Zealanders' . They are are pro-Corporate and will take down your pay, your pension , raise your mortgage/ rent without concern for your well being. Remember this in a couple years when you start seeing an uptick of working homeless families living out of cars and vans near your block. Shit, you could be one of 'em..who knows? I would do some research before you play in to their rubbish..
between them and the Misbehavior Party (Greens)... and Labour who almost broke this place. Thank goodness for the present coalition. We do need financial prudence at this stage.
and they are on at least $160,000 per year, for not representing their electors. I cannot think of any time they have come up with anything constructive. They whine and exaggerate about problems, creating issues that don't really exist. The House of Representatives? I don't think so, in the case of the elected Te Pati Maori members.

Exactly, and some fool’s in this country marched back in the 80’s to dismantle apartheid and now look at the mess South Africa is in and this place could head down the same road if we’re not carful.

He's been in this game long enough to be a Prime minister, so ask yourself why hsn't he's one of them by now? answer to that is simple..he's not good enough but his ego..well if he was he would have sold us New Zealanders out.(assuming) lol..

mikewalters, what world are you living in? 1. Firstly. What percentage of the vote did NZ First get and the same for Act? They are very much minority parties who are dictating policies. Wake up. 2. Secondly, Majoritarianism is a spurious form of democracy that entrenches racism and a whole heap of prejudicial behaviour that results in a society that creates divisions which ultimately leads to either radical reform or revolution. Be it constitutional or civil disobedience. 3. Civil & constitutional obedience to any Government in Aotearoa / NZ is based on the foundation document of the nation. That document is Te Tiriti o Waitangi. No more, no less. Familiarise yourself to what Article 2 says. Inform your ignorance & wake up.
Good on you Winnie your exactly right spot on don’t give them an inch because they will take a mile we are one people and we want our country back to being giving people a hand up not a hand out our little country needs to stand together and work hard we can not afford seperate entities we are so much better together
If the Maori party want all the separatist institutions I say let them have all that with only one major caveat. They have to fund it themselves without using the "tainted" pakeha tax dollars. See how far they get with that.

Good health and long life to you Winston. Your matauranga (knowledge) and mana (prestige and authority) are critical for maoridom for such a time as this. You are Rangatira worthy of respect, because you have earned it in the service of this nation and all its people, both Maori and Pakeha and all others who love this nation. We are proud of you.
Whose the we??? I doubt very much that Māori as you suggest will mourn his passing when his time comes. He's attacked a Māori MP and his party at a time when the man has lost his father. Disgraceful but then not surprising of KŪPAPA.
So is David Seymour. Hopefully the 3 of them working together will take the wok lefty BS and the TPM racist disinformation out of the equation and allow all NZers to move onwards and upwards as one unit that respects all cultures and gives everyone equality with the same rights. None of this BS one rule for one and another rule for others. That never bodes well and only ever causes division, racism, favouritism and inequality.
Mr Winston Peters is a wonderful man. He speaks with absolute wisdom, clarity, and moral authority. ❤ Winston, a man truly of the people, stands for New Zealand ( including Maori) and loves all the people of NZ.
Can we please have government officials psychologically accessed? How many people are 'challenged' with mental dissorders? Has anyone got 'imposter syndrome' which positions a person in power to be suceptible to control by someone like The WEF or past Prime Ministers. We elect leaders to act on our behalf, not their own.
I'm assuming that you actually mean the TPM racist disinformation rhetoric is appalling. If so I agree wholeheartedly with you. It's the reason we need to have a discussion re the treaty and a referendum so that everyone can have a say based on truthful information and not a litany of lies made up to serve TPM.
All respect to honorable Winston Peter's. He stands strong in all political maturity as a long standing politician in this country and calls it out like it is . He's like a king tui ,chest out ,singing out loud from the colors of his feathers dispelling and chasing off some old evil spirit that doesn't belong here in modern times .
I agree with you Shane, but it's not the colour of skin as the majority of maori are light skinned. It's race and privilege (in their eyes) that's the problem. Imo. 🌹
