New Zealand First leader, Winston Peters spoke out against the therapeutic products bill at a packed public meeting. New Zealand First has previously blocked this legislation, and will continue to fight for common-sense ideas.
Thank goodness there is a politician in NZ fighting for this policy to be halted! If the legislation is passed, it’s going to be a disaster for citizens. Many more will end up having to use the hospital systems, which are already overwhelmed.
@@fu8713 my friend is an old guy, remembers him as immigration minister, said he paid him a certain fee to get in when he was just beginning his carrer
@@snigie1 they say what people want to hear it’s nothing new people still fall for their garbage It be great if they do deliver on all their CAMPAIGN lies, I mean speeches or whatever lol but I wouldn’t put money on it lol
kia kaha Winston and all those that will back NZ First...Bring back better for NZ...we need you Winston...Make NZ Great Again...stand true to yourself and other within the party because they will be coming after you and all NZ First...arohanui and hugs...
Yes well done Winston: and dont forget we have our own indigenous health practices as well that will go under if this bill comes in: add that support to challenging this death sentence we will save the day.
Peters is on the money.. join the movement and help him.. we the people need NZF to sweep this rubbish legislation, along with other legislation, from the books.
Gratitude Winston, yes Comfrey is a powerful plant, ask anyone who knows about horses... Speaking of which, Jacinda hasnt been vocal lately, whats that creature up to i wonder? Good to hear some common sense rhetoric, i only hope that its NOT just pontificating, but you and yours will follow through and help us start cleaning out the rot that infects our absurdly beaurocentric heavy circus. Youre a veteran, you know the games, now beat them at it.
Can someone remind Mr Peters about the CER/Closer Economic Relations Bill - formulated & passed under the David Lange Labour Party - that "literally' gave Australia "freehold approach & purchasing into the Business world of NZ". Did we (NZ) go the other way - no - because [1] - of Australian Business Legislation, [2] - a lack of will power to do so, by NZ. The Chemist Warehouse has brought a Business Factor that our own Pharmacies are hard pressed to match. Countdown (NZ) is owned (and operated by) Woolworths Australia - oh sorry Jacinda was going to look at the Supermarkets in NZ and their "monopoly" - still waiting.
As much as we hate foreign ownership. Chemist warehouse has drastically reduced our medical prices eg i got 100 ibuprofen for 4bux, that would cost over 15 bux at another pharmacy or pknsave.. thats why places like unichen are having a meltdown acting like they cared about us and our wallets this whole time. Lets hope they keep their prices down... Countdown I can agree with, I worked there for 6 years before they fired me over the vax, but the nz owned supermarkets didn't require it.
@@Scooby-bf4bp I hear you Dude! Unfortunately the "Gentleman from the North, is a little blind to what is really happening (and/or happened, even with his tenure in the Wgtn Big House) in NZ - being stuck in an office in Wgtn affected his eyesight & hearing to the 'real world of NZ". And He can not say that dining at the Green Parrot gave him a chance "to catch up". He 'ranted" about the Chemist Warehouse - maybe he should look at what Bunnings (owned by a large Aussie Business Conglomerate) - has done to Placemakers/Carter Holt /Mitre 10 (the last having become a more expensive store to purchase from). Nor did I hear (maybe you did) Mr P make mention of the Aussie Bank Buy out way back when the Lange Labour Govt (via Roger Douglas, then Min of Finance) - introduced CER. Yes other Pharmacies are having "kittens" their fault/ poor Business strategies/ which is not unusual in NZ. You might be interested to hear - at the time the CER Legislation was passed, a comment appeared in a NZ Newspaper - something about "NZ becoming a State of Australia, we might be better off". Cheers.
@@robinlecomte1242 Bunnings has done well for keeping our a prices down in hardware I believe... AFAIK they haven't been accused of being a cartel the same way carter's has been. Yeah very strange that less than 10% of our banks are nz owned, who could of allowed this aussie/chinese monopolisation on everything. I used to strictly only shop at nz owned places but that is way harder to do now and ive realized that supporting nz made/owned doesn't seem to make a difference because what have they ever done for us? Sometimes I can get food cheaper at countdown even though their wages are 25% higher for example
A politician "speaking up" about natural therapeutics who also in 2019 wanted a compulsory measles vaccine in NZ? If I hadn't just received a pre frontal lobotomy... I'd have the good sense (now removed) not to vote for Winnie.
If you are a young person with a good skill set you will have a much better life overseas. New Zealand is now a divided country thanks to Labor, and thanks to Labor and National over 30 years is now a much poorer country with a lot of broken services and infrastructure. The only people these two parties have empowered are their own ministers and the wealthy elite. New Zealand has a huge debt bill coming it's way, why as a young person should you pay for the mistakes of past generations. I doubt the wealthy will ever pay their fair share of tax, I doubt they will ever introduce capital gains like most other countries etc. I would strongly recommend young people leave and have better lives overseas such as Australia. Peters and his wife are worth 10s of millions, it's always these rich people preaching.
I am a South African immigrant to NZ. We came here for financial reasons and because of the political chaos in South Africa. Let me tell you as young people something I have learnt, and believe me, I do not regret leaving South Africa. But what I learnt here is that a person has ROOTS and when you leave, you cannot imagine the incredible impact of severing your roots. I will not tell anyone what to do as we live in a time of great change and migration, and what is needed is being informed on the consequences of our options . So I offer my insight to young people and it is this: young person, money means very little in the end and ones roots and heritage cannot be replaced in the new country. It affects your children and down the line, and this country compared to South Africa is still paradise. However, NZ is on the wrong path and if I as someone thankful for this sanctuary can dare to offer any advice to Kiwis it will be this: go think back on your roots. Go think on what made you what you are. Do not focus on all the cloudy political stuff but just why NZ developed to be a great country. Then try think what you guys are doing wrong so that you are walking so far into the opposite direction that you want to give up your heritage.
@@TheWidowsOil Good luck with co governance and two systems, that is what they have had in South Africa and now it's been introduced into New Zealand and it's the tax payer that has to pay for it. As for roots, it's a nice dream to say ones roots are more important but the reality of life is you need money for a good life.
Came to NZ 21 years ago from UK with three young daughters. Have to admit, beginning to regret it now. Can’t see much future for the young ones, low wages , high cost, ineffectual governments, high tax, racism, ridiculous house prices, one daughter back in UK, one wishing she could go.........
@@TW-mc9wk Yep and becoming an unsafe place for woman as crime rises, a lot more woman feel unsafe in Auckland and Wellington. But it's also a divided nation now, I have never seen that before. And now every minority group and Maori/Pacifica are blaming whites for everything under the sun it doesn't make for a good country to live in. I retired to Thailand, I love it here, in a country that by law only identifies male and female and in the schooling system blocks kids from attempting to be something other than what they were born as until they reach adult age to decide for themselves. Labor is dividing the country and trying to create broken kids, the more victims you have the more left wing voters for the future you have. Anyhow, 30 years of Labor and National, both have wrecked the country, there is no going back to the old days.
