almost forgot what deep snow looked like. Man that trail up from the parking lot, leaving for Togwotee in the morning, so loved seeing some snow. had a high temp of 75F yesterday afternoon and woke up to mid 20s and dropped to the upper teens early this afternoon, crazy weather. Keep it up Matt!!!!

You will love this Matt. Wednesday I went to the dentist. Its in a new building and they have TVs in all the rooms. The dentist came in, who is also a rider. I hit him up," what the hell, you knew I was coming in and no snowmobile films on the TVs?" So he grabbed his phone, pulled up youtube and fired up the TV went right to Muskoka ! They had the tv mounted to a swing mount, positioned it above my chair and the dentist went to work putting a filling in my tooth while I enjoyed this episode. He was done about the same time it was over. The dentist is also a subscriber a fellow rider and the funny thing is, we are from Dillon Montana. The dentist was in Revy the same time as Toby Shepherd, Sam Peterson and Keith Curtis were up there and was parked next to Shepherd's trailer when you shot the first day they were up there. If you slide through on you way to Jackson Hole, hit us up and we will buy you a beer.

Have you or any of your friends tried the MTNTEK blowhole? My 129x1.75" sled rs trail sled used to blow belts every 150 miles of off trail riding.. added the blow hole and got 300 miles on this belt and still looks good with olny slight belt adjustment done

You might give the GBoost World Best Belt a try. I had a few sitting around for my Maverick x3 and stuck one on my summit, has a slightly different engagement feel but does last quiet a bit longer than the stock skidoo, at least the way I ride 😂

I haven't ridden a 140 something, since my 2000 mountain max, I bought new. Then went 153 on the M8, after that 162, and 163 ever since. A 146 might be fun, but not as an only sled.

I bought a second sled, a pristine '97 Phazer Mt Lite. I justified this purchase to my wife as the perfect sled for her. She differed it to the episode of the Simpsons where Homer gets Marge a bowling ball, but it's really for him. She has since ridden it and is hooked on snowmobiling. Now we call her sled, Marge.

I picked up a 154 freeride turbo and I love it. So much more stabile with a 15 wide and 36 inch stance. Also with the 46s I belive the gearing is different than the 54 and 65

How do you keep your sleds from overheating getting from the dry parking lot to snow? I bought a 2008 800r skidoo, had to get the motor totally rebuilt from the bottom up (I got screwed...another story) but seems like my sled heats up on hard pack too easy but the shop says this is normal. My old 2003 skidoo 600 never had an issue....thanks!

Don’t bend the door. Put a small hole in the windshield and unlock the door that way. Put some tape over the hall get a new window at the end of trip.

I would REALLY REALLY appreciate if someone could provide some feedback on this. I have a buddy who goes Snowmobiling in Montana and Idaho all the time in the mountains. I’m going snowmobiling near Vail CO for the first time next week. I’m a huge outdoors person so I might fall in love. That said, why do people sell 1-3 year old Snowmobiles for the newest fancy thing? Can a guy buy a sled and use it for 10 years and have it still be an excellent sled or is that saying “ride for 1 hour and work on it for 2” really true? Thanks for any informative input.

@@MuskokaFreerider I get that. It just makes me more aware of my knowledge gap as to WHY you felt confident where you were. With the shooting cracks it made sense because you had limited snow/elevation above you. But watching you guys climb that hill I had no confidence I could pick what is safe and what isn't. I've been privileged to ride areas with lots of snow but limited steep terrain so if I want to ride more aggressively in unfamiliar areas definitely would need more training/knowledge. Appreciate your content as always!

Dude how many sleds do you have this season? Is this number 4? I also think cans on sleds should be banned unless in competition. All they do is piss everyone off and result in riding areas getting shut down. I find that guys with loud cans want to be noticed due to their lack of skill riding

Sorry for your loss, my group of guys and I have lost some good friends to avalanches over the years. It's always sad. Being prepared, and situational awareness is something if anything, that's good that can come from it.
