If you protect eggplant from the frost you can overwinter them and have a massive headstart in Spring. Our Summers are too short in Melbourne for capsicum and eggplant.

It's rained 16 out of the 26 days we've been away. The main issue is slugs chomping on the tender leaves.

Great vid, now you've got me thinking if I should buy some of those too from my Bunnings for my planned vegie beds. Usually I buy finefarms cow manure or chicken manure but I like the idea of that green waste compost better for filling. Great video! Excellent work, the veggie beds are going to fill out nicely!. ☺

Hey George, having a lot of Guava fruit drop here in the valley of California. I was wondering, do Guavas self thin pretty frequently where your at? We have had 110+ weather and its been rough this past week. Some pollinated buds are dropping and im unsure if this is normal for a first time flowering tree

That's hot! My tropical Guavas ripen over winter and spring, so they never have heat or maggot issues. I manually thin by hand when the crop is heavy.
