I've done this with a hammock and an electric blanket *but* I use a 12V blanket and it is far more efficient. Right now, Walmart has the 12V Goodyear Heated Travel Blanket on clearance for $19. It draws 48W on low and 65W on high. It seems to stay on all night rather than turn off with a timer. I put it inside the bag under me and it's very effective. Good Luck. I don't know what the YT rules on links are so I will put it in a separate reply. Good Luck!

What kinda battery you use

@@-whackd I use either a big 660Wh powerbank or a smaller 222wh Rockpals portable power station. The smaller runs on low for about 5 hours. You could use any 12v battery including the car. If you use the car, be sure to have a backup plan to start the car. Good luck!

was hoping this electric blanket would work with my small power generator, but it does not. Once i can figure out how to stay warm or when it warms up I'll be out for more hammock hitch stealth nights
