Grandpa age, but not grandpa as we did not get any children. However I having fun as you are vit outdoors things and so one. Long time now since I louded up a wideo as a friend of me said that I should delete my editing program on my mack as it was not possible to delete the films that I uploaded. I said to him that than I will not be able to load down again the program. Than he got mad an told me to do it. And so I did and I am not able to load down a new peogram as I do not have the codes. And I am not so good with computers. Hope to be able to uppload soon, as it is fun as you say. Hpwever I have so few subcribers that I am not shore it's worth it. I have subbed you long time ago, but I have subbed hundreds so it will go long time between every time I watch. ❤❤😊😊✌✌👌👌👍👍❤❤
no problem. I understand your frustration with computers. I experienced many extreme headaches with all this over the last 2 years however it is easier now and I actually like doing it. I wish you success and thank you for your continued support
You have a cool set up with the stove I have never tried that. The older I got the thicker my mat got, I have always used thermarest mats and the one time I tried something else I ended up going two hundred miles with no mat because a seam gave out.
I still have my old thermarest 3/4 length. It still holds air but is heavier than my new Nemo. That company makes excellent product for sure. I should write to them and send a photos of the old one. I bought it about 30 years ago!! not sure if it is a record.
the stove is called Firehiking. It is available on line in various places. I went with the best deal on Black Friday!!! There are several others that are very similar- this one was the best price at the time.
Thanks so much thank Sue- Yes it is fun to have a camping buddy. I think the lights will be great. Nice and cheery on a winter night. Good to hear from you again. Happy Ontario winter!
Love this! I just found your channel. I've been watching JoJo Camping a lot over the last few months. She is a cute and sweet Korean Girl Solo Camper ( for the most part ) I haven't camped for years due to living on a homestead but all these wonderful camping channels motivated me to start buying all new gear and integrate my old gear too! I am totally excited to start camping again.... some moments I'm a little wary but I have a little dog who will come with me. She is small but fierce in her conviction so I know I will be notified if there is any concerns.... I am not really concerned but it has been a while and I have always been with other people in the past so solo caping will be a bit different. Thank you so much for documenting this and sharing.. I lived in Whistler for a ski season and a spring and a little bit of fall so I became aware of the wildlife there. In South western Ontario the wildlife is small and gentle for the most part so I will remember that when my mind gets the better of me. I truly believe that if we are careful and aware but not living in fear wild life feels that gentle vibration and will usually go about their own business. They want peace as much as we do. Thank you again for the wonderful videos you put out and sharing your experiences with us!
Wendy you brightened my day with this video. I have that Nemo pad but haven’t used it in that cold. It’s great to know it’s good. You give us Grandmas inspiration! Keep them coming!
Hello Heidi- so great to hear from you. Yes, we grandmas need to stick together. I think the insulated pad I have should do me for what I am planning to do. Don't plan on too many minus minus nights. Lets hear for camping grandmothers!!!
Hi Wendy, I am delighted to have found your channel. I am from Vancouver Island too, though currently am located outside of Vancouver BC. As an older woman myself, I deal with arthritis that has limited my camping ability, but it is still something I love to do. There is nothing as wonderful as being in nature! I look forward to keeping up with your videos! Great to see another mature woman out enjoying beautiful BC
Check the REi sales, with the new Nemo tensor extreme they're discontinuing the older models & u can get an old one for 30-50% off with Nemo's lifetime warranty & REi's one year return if anything u don't like. Last year, I was at REi Bellingham, WA they were half price, but I wanted a more durable pad for stealth tarp camping (Nemo's had a delicate 20D vs REi's Helix 30D seemed more durable, but heavier) I got the Helix, no regrets, but now I need a double pad 😝
nice to meet you I always enjoy watching videos. You referenced the Haven tent in your video. Thank you very much I am cheering from Japan. Thank you for a fun time
hi Jen- thanks for your comments. The sleeping mat was surprisingly comfortable. It will be good to give it a few more times before I give it a rating. I was happy to be warm as well. I will keep Nemo in mind should I need to replace my bag too. eventually things wear out. Even the camper!! lol
Very nice setup. My heart kinda went out to your friend. I could just feel the cold when it was lights out and having to leave your cozy warm tent and crawl into her freezing tent. I’m sure once she got all snuggled in it was better, but just the thought …. Brrrr. Blessings
@@MrPawPawboil up a litre of water for ur nalgene, stuff it in an old wool sock & dry bag, and toss in ur sleeping bag, as ur hot water bottle bed warmer. Just test it first, to make sure the lid is secure, flip it upsidedown so the lid gets heated as the bottle. A cold lid & hot bottle, can make for a water bed situation LoLz 😅
Hello Amy, so happy to hear from you in North Carolina. thanks so much for your continued support and interest. Hoping all is well with you. Enjoy the outdoors. Wendy
Hi John, glad you got the Haven Tent and that is working for you. I will be out in mine again once the weather warms up. For now, I am totally in love with the fire in my hot tent!!!
