Winter climbing low grade classics, and personal recommendations, that anyone can hope to climb with just a wee bit of practice, a wee bit of know-how, and a wee bit gear.
Thank you A.C.S. This channel is like a 'Junction' all the paths I have been on have led me to... and the beginning of a path that, hopefully, will lead to some Winter Climbing in beautiful Scotland..
Thanks! I only got into winter climbing a few years ago myself, but now it's hard to imagine life without it. RU-vid is an amazing resource for teaching yourself the basics.
@@adventurefilmclub2549 Hi.. thank you for your reply.. I just want to say a big thank you for all you are doing here as it has really helped me and I wish you many years of good safe times in the Mountains.. a Yes I totally agree with you about the RU-vid channels you mentioned. The only real challenging place for winter climbing here in the Irish republic is the Kerry mountains.. ( They could kill just as quick : ) ) and that's where I will Practice.. (As well as Dalkey Quarry..).
Cheers man. Trying to give out a serious message with a wee bit of irreverence. I honestly don't think there's a more awe inspiring experience than being out in the mountains in winter.
