First of all, thanks to Showers Pass for making this adventure possible. In this episode, we wake up in our cozy hut and head out for a beautiful day of FAT BIKING! This was my first fat bike hut adventure, and my first time to the beautiful San Juan Mountains. We stayed in a cozy hut which is part of the San Juan Hut system (You can ski, bike or hike to em). Ryan, thanks for sharing this! I'm 57 I love to bicycle, some of your previous video's have inspired me, and recently bought myself a Giant mountain bike, I was out in the snow, mud, a week ago, and I don't have a FAT tire, I have tubeless, maybe a little bigger than normal size tires, and it was tough when you start sinking! Whew! What a work out. Your photography, videography, or whatever you call it, is really great! You've done a great job! I live in CT I hope some day to get out West to see more of the world! Just Beautiful! I learned alot about the right gear to wear too! Thanks so much! Your enthusiasm for this and life is contagious! God bless! Be safe and enjoy!

I just stumbled on your page a few weeks ago and even though my wife isn't into biking, she loved watching your Baja Divide series because of your positive attitude and cinematography. Thank you so much for sharing this! I just bought my first fat bike and I thought I was failing miserably until seeing this video! I was expecting to be able to ride like I do on summer trails. Now I see that is unrealistic. Thanks for the reality check! You have restored my joy!

Fat bikes are great for snow, and sand...they are heavier than normal bikes, but very fun!! Hope you get to try it someday

Deep snow and baja sand is pretty similar...really hard to move through...but snow is more fun to fall on :)

how? I remember them reporting it on 'Voice of America' they said it was the worse fire they had ever seen at a balloon factory and that the police where looking for a frustrated party goer wearing just his knickers!
