Winter Greenhouse Vegetables [Gardening Allotment UK] [Grow Vegetables At Home ] 

I’m in storm prep today. Securing my late tomatoes before hurricane tomorrow. It will be tropical when it gets here to Maine. We’re going to be getting 40-70mph winds and gusts. My tomatoes are mostly laden with unripe fruit. They are heavy and green.. I’ve only had a handful of cherries ripen so far. I’ll be securing everyth8 g as best I can and hopefully they make it unharmed!

I grew 10 lettuce. I’ve eaten the same one at least four times, given away a couple and hey presto they keep coming back!

I'm holidaying in Croatia watching another excellent video but will be straight into the greenhouse when I get back to the UK!

There's a real turn in the weather now. I have some winter squash that I hope will have time to ripen and my tatties are starting to get a bit scabby but other than that I'm prepping for winter now too so this is very helpful Ivan.

I'm hoping for a good winter growing season for all of us. You look like you are well on the way.

My next experiment is to see if I can grow tomatoes over winter in my little pop up greenhouse with led lights. My tomato harvest has been good and all from a few slices of shop bought tomatoes. Thankyou Ivan, another great video as always. Now, over to see what’s cooking 😉

Carful I grew my electra onions in my polytonal and when the temperature was changing in spring they bolted. I’m going to try to grow some in the allotment for next year

Some good info & advice Ivan thank you, I've got my cauliflowers in containers they're looking good up to yet, I'm going to do some sprouts especially now I can get smaller ones, again I'll do them in containers, I love all green veg, how long does it take for sprouts to grow & harvest, thanks again Ivan..

Thanks for the good videos Ivan. A Question….I have a number of tomato plants in 3” pots, about a foot tall. I was not well enough to plant them out at the right time…but I have seen some people saying you can overwinter them, probably in the house. What’s your take on this ? (SwLondon)

Is apache lettuce same as lollo rossa lettuce?

Any one have any suggestions on which netting to get for covering brassicas & any websites they use for ordering.
