Hello, I am watching your videos in Ukraine. We have John Deere equipment on the farm, although I do not understand English, but I learn a lot from the videos
Wow yea now that’s an oil plug wow 😯 yea if that plug turns loose look out yea keep the awesome content coming in and that’s for all the time you put into these videos
Like watching your videos. Your calming ways of talking and doing repairs - your good knowledge of these machines - your clean and professional workshop. It all just make watching your videos so relaxing and enjoyable. Please keep them coming. 🇿🇦
Always enjoy your videos. I spent many years dealing with industrial gas turbines. The real wealth of the USA is actually in the hands of our farmers and folks like you that keep the country’s production going. Well done!
I would love to see you work on older equipment. I'm sure you don't have to many of those service calls but if you do please film them. My newest piece is a 1998 8100
Another interesting repair video, please keep them coming. I’d love to see another service truck tour, as my own toolbox has benefited from some of the interesting tools you’ve bought.
Another great video. The Telehandlers originally were badged Matbro units built in Northern Ireland. Matbro went bust in the late nineties. Deere took over production at the Zweibrucken factory in a fairly short time considering the task at hand. They were very popular in the UK and commanded a good market share. Still working on many farms over here. Due to more room required to build more combines, production stopped in 2006. There was a pivot steer machine as well, a 3800. They should have stuck with it.
I absolutely loved the blues music! I am a amazed how you will at attack a disaster like this and solve it. What a mess! Give me a good ole 4020 with a 720 loader and I am a happy camper.
I always put some batterygrease on all battery poles and to all important connections to prevent corrosion, helped me a lot during my years of tampering with old cars and tractors.
Holy cow you could reach through that hole and rebuild the transmission. That is one heck of a big shop. I thought it was another dealers shop... You earned your pay on that telehandler.
Got hooked on these videos. The complexity of repair and time needed is unimaginable. Makes boats and airplanes look like small time. This ‘barn’ is unbelievable with the vast number of equipment and the guy has 3 JD 8RX - not sure what they are but they’re $614k brand new just for the tractor and this ‘farmer’ has 3 of them !
Your methodical patience is wonderful. We were down in Oklahoma for Christmas 2022. My grandson wanted to put a speed shifter in his 2019 Honda Civic. I could not help him because of a bad cold. I told him to take lots of pictures. He did. He also had instructions. I thought of you doing your work step by step. Everything worked and he is happy. A few days later, he even let me drive his car. He is attending university and one of his hobbies is refurbishing old typewriters for relaxation. He is learning to plan things out. . . . You always impress me with your work. 😊
I really like the way you explain things and the way you are so patient with your workers around you and you don’t treat them like second grade citizens You do a great job keep the green iron moving. Let’s hope they can keep making it in America.
I think that cable stud would be a good place for a coating of some fluid film. My theory is if I worked on it once then either myself or someone else will have to work on it again someday. Good job 👏👏
Thanks for another leather together movie Too bad I'm too old to come and work with you would have liked to have done that on that machine For all your beautiful and learn together, keep sending out explanations. Jan Houtkamp from Holland
Thanks for another great video ZK. It was interesting and enjoyable. Yes I vote for a tool truck tour and looking at some special type tools. Would be interesting. I would be interested in some more work on the track systems on these new tractors. Know very little on them. Us older guys are wheel type tractors. Thanks. Today. Both jobs were interesting. First one was straight forward. Interesting how much oil was above that plug. The thing that caught my eye was that HUGE shop with ALL green in it. Wow and wow on the shop and equipment in it. Never seen that big of a shop with so much green in it. A lot of dollars in there. Most interesting. Second the telehandler. That was a hard one to track down. ZK you found the problem but typically have to tear so much plastic apart to get to the problem. Exactly what you had to do. You found it. My sincere compliments to you for cleaning the cab parts up. Shows you care about the equipment and the customer. Very nice ZK. Thanks for the video. Another great video. The Iowa Farm Boy.
I like all ur videos u know the ones I like the most. Nick went thru advanced diesel all A's thankful. He went to chasing fab and welding. Shared ur videos with him loved them all. I guess he's head set on John deere. He's I guessed on way to Idaho to John deere not certain why but all gd. Videos where ur family no matter what are grt like just around house or snow sledding or supper mean alot cuz tells us who u are when deere don't own u. Just sayn grt family. Side note wyotech meant alot to me and ur life there meant alot. Glad I found ur channel
Thanks for sharing another great episode Zeth, an updated truck tour would be excellent. That telehandiler looked like a peach you have to love the green crusties in our great state of Illinois. Take care man.
Love the videos. I'm a second year John Deere heavy mechanic apprentice up in Alberta and your videos really help give me confidence diving into all the new projects I've never done. That and service advisee lol.
Awesome, Zeth. Thx a lot for your videos and all the effort you put in your work. How you cleaned up the old telehandler was great to see. Very honorable. And that 8RX was just gorgeous. So brand spanking new (and they look just sexy) Keep it up and take care 🙂👍
That is the way those giant plugs always go.. baffles….. false sense of security and then the horror movie begins. Great video. Your reaction was fantastic.
Those telehandlers are awesome!!! Used to work on 3420 (that machine was sold with around 13k hours and still running at another farm). Deere stopped building them in the early 2000 (i think 2006) and everyone who ever worked on one of those wish Deere will make them again.
Ever since I found this channel you never have put out put out a video that i do not like I have put in a like ever since. Thanks for sharing. 👍 is automatic. Happy subscriber 😊!
great vid mate ,used to work on a farm ,work with cars now can sympathise with you when you where working on the telehandler .I think vehicle manufacturers go out of their way to make our life, your life difficult ,i wish i could keep my cool like you do. great vid
Another great video and I couldn’t agree more. I have had my new tractor serviced several times for warranty work and that dealership gave me back my tractor dirtier than when He got it, all three times. Since warranty has now expired I do my own service work and each fall, I take it and thoroughly clean and do maintenance on the whole unit. I do that with all my equipment. Needless to say, I no longer deal with that tractor dealership. I wished I had gone into agriculture equipment repair. I would enjoy that and if I worked with you, I think I’d have to bring the coffee and doughnuts.
Great catch on that cable & connection. Many times I've seen voltage but nearly no amperage possible in a mess like that! Great you caught it now or certainly you'd have been called out again. Sheesh intermittent problems can be a nightmare to find.
Besides the fact that you are a great mechanic with a heart for the business, you also like to play with those machines. Nice video and keep it up. Continue to enjoy your work and it will bring you satisfaction. 😁
Zeth another video bang on the money as usual. Got to say although you were feeling that the telehandler was kicking your butt, you were doing what we all do and that was following that live power all the way! Just unfortunate that the gremlins decided to steal you power when you were not looking. Bugger those gremlins 🙂. Thanks as always Zeth
Hey, I really enjoy your videos. I have been a field service mechanic my entire life. Wish I got introduced to AGRICULTURE, I think I would have really enjoyed working on The John Deere green.. I have been mostly around the Yellow iron..I wonder if it’s to late to make a lateral move. I’m 56. Lol…
Maybe here's an idea if you want make a video about sloanes at the workshop and the office staff 🤔 and mybe ask the boss if he wants to speak about what it's like to own the business
