I love the NZ robins when they show up and "inspect" the camp, almost tame and curious. It's the wekas you gotta look out for--I've seen them trying to steal things, kinda amusing.
Hi guys, wow someone's either been up all night or woke up super early to upload your latest video... Thanks.. I'm in Auckland listening to the pouring rain, which just started. Start of yet another storm at 5. 51 am on Friday morning.. Can't wait to watch your latest episode Able😊
I like how he pulls stuff out of his pack and squeezes it a few times. Like-Huh, wonder what this is. Kinda like a kid guessing his present on Christmas.
Kia ora, I would say, that your videos are awesome. I can not stop watching every evening. Binge watching. By the way, the sound is perfect. I enjoy. Thank you!!!
Do you guys have silver birch tree's in NZ? The bark makes an excellent fire starter and it's waterproof. I have to say though those white blocks you use are the go to for me as well, they are very reliable.
A pleasure as usual Abel. Absolutely love the inclement weather videos. Nothing quite so cozy as rain drumming on your tent. Have you tried the aero press coffee maker? Always look forward to seeing your new video s and thanks.
Absolutely really 😎 cool camping adventure, love it when you show and tell about new gear you get ,your burgers 🍔 😋 sorry if this seems a stupid Q but why do people who have beef and cheese burgers just call it a cheese burgers, but it not it's both, anywho love ya channel, an d love to Victoria look forward to seeing you boyh out and about ,stay she and stay happy ❤❤❤❤
Able what brand of coffee filters are you drinking and can I get them in the us? I am currently using a hard plastic filter that takes up half my mug and I have to hold it up in the air to get a full mug of coffee. Love your videos and your content is the best
G'day Abel, 12K wow. Revenge of the WEKA! next week roast Weka? 😂 Congrats on getting a fire going, but wasn't the wood wet enough already without a dunk in the creek? I have gotten fires going in such wet conditions and of course no use of petrol, no honestly, I promise, really
I was deeply saddened when I realised I wasn’t having french toast. I look forward to my camp meals all week. This time of year fires are tough but it not the same without them. The old white block little lucifers are the best still.
That was really comical watching you cut the firewood. Which tool is better for that task, the hatchet or the saw? I would like you to try a more scientific way of making your fires. It is non-intuitive but works really well. Stack your biggest logs on the bottom of the pit and build them up from largest on the bottom to smallest on top. Then light your kindling on top of the pile. The fire will burn down with a more even heat and last longer. I have been doing this at home in my log burner and it works great. Where did you get the Wagu burgers? I live in Nelson.
Lol the axe is surprisingly fast. Good to mix it up I think. Do you this this method would work well with wet and rotten beech wood? The burgers were from countdown in nelson near library. Can also order online. They are legit
This guy camps for a week in a forest, he will end up deforesting it 🤡🤣🤣🤣, he cuts down the trees that are standing, it was to pick up the branches that were lying on the ground. 👍🏽
