The winter (from Old High German wintar, traceable like Gothic wintrus to a Germanic root; etymologically unclear, it was previously assumed, among other things, an origin from Indo-European ṷi- "to shine", ṷed- "to moisten, flow" and a relationship with "water" as "that Flowing” as well as a connection with a root meaning “white” is the coldest of the four seasons in the subtropical, temperate and polar climate zones of the earth.
Everything is quiet and covered in white. Wonderful snow and ice creations appear on the trees and evergreen leaves. Open your eyes and enjoy it.
