Go the rainbow! Why not? Just for fun and you can always change it back. You never know you might love it and it might spark a whole new way of crocheting. Rainbow on the top - five rows. Neutrals along the bottom - two rows. Whatever works!

Hi Christa! I love the idea of having all your types of yarn together for ease of just being able to grab all you need for your individual projects and you can still display them in colour sequence together.

I am a HUGH no on changing your yarn arrangement to total rainbow. I like seeing the colors in the yarn types! Also the blankets, pillows and accessories look great randomly placed.

I wouldn’t change your yarn scape at all, I like it the way it is as that seems like so much extra work to me. On the other hand, you do what’s best for you. Enjoyed watching/listening to you as I crochet along. Have a great week end.

Christa, about the yarn wall: how do you create? What is your motivation to make something? Is it color? Is it fiber type? Is is gauge? I am going to guess that you are inspired by color. So, if this is true, you should arrange the wall in a rainbow. Also, you like to mix and match yarns, textures, and colors. So, I say, go rainbow, sister.

Do what inspires you most. If you do switch up, maybe you could sticker or catalog your fibers so it would not be such a chore to locate. Either way you always make it look fabulous.

I'm a hard no on the changing your yarnscape. 😊 I think the way you have it is great and looks great! Imo I couldn't imagine digging around for a type of yarn I wanted. It's almost like a library...you wouldn't just scatter books to arrange for color. I hope your son has a fab-boo birthday!!! Sounds like it's going to be oodles of fun!!

We have a saying in the south (or maybe everywhere, but we use it a lot in the south): If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The yarnscape is gorgeous as it is, so why would you change it? Unless of course, it just is driving you batty the way it is, but then of course, it would be broken, so you should fix it however suits you best :) So sorry to have missed the super deal on the navy hook set. That's what I get for being behind on my RU-vid videos. I hope your 7 year old had an awesome lava floor party.

It depends on how you choose for your projects. If you choose colors first do the rainbow but keep different types on different shelves. Say red cotton above and the red acrylic below and say red bamboo below that. Then orange cotton next , orange acrylic bellow and orange bamboo below that and so on.

I would keep the yarn in the yarn groups, and any colour of the pumpkins would be AMAZING, and the microfiber fill so funny, polyfilla is a hole filler in the UK, stay safe and stay happy 😊 😁 🤗

A rainbow would be lovely to look at but I like the way you have things now. Makes sense to have same yarn types together and you get mini rainbows in each box. There is also the fact that I simply wouldn't want to haul ALL that down and re-organise it lol I mean seriously, you have so much going on, where would you find the time?? I would leave as is! I would go crazy trying to find it otherwise! And l miss the Birthday party planning. My son who is 26 always says his favorite party was the one where l did a “Fear Factor” party! This was when the show was on and popular! I had food that looked gross but was fine...and fun games. It was talked about in the neighborhood for a long time!

Christa, the pillow stuffing material is called Poliester Fiberfill here in the US. Your giant bundle reminds me of the first time I bought oranges at the outdoor market in Guadalajara. I pointed to the sign that had the price and the seller started filling my basket as fast as he could with both hands counting till he reached 100!! I didn't realize that the price on the sign was for 100 oranges! I could have asked for any fraction of that. Nothing else fit in my basket after that!!!

I would make it into a rainbow. You can still organize by fiber if you go from side to side instead of up and down. Use the bottom shelves for the least used yarnand the more popular yarn that you use all the time stick that right in the middle the ones that take up a lot more room if you have them stick them up on top.. That's just my OCD my yarn stash is about four or five of your shelves so it's easier for me to keep in order. I have mostly acrylic and wool and I have one little tote for my cotton.

I love rainbows !!!!!! But i still would keep it in organized by yarn type because I think thats easier when you want to start a project because yarn type determines the project and how much blah blah then color, sooooooo I would organize by yarn type then rainbow within that yarn type so then you will a bunch of little rainbows across the wall!!

Keep the yarn type and the rainbow flow within the type. However, a huge rainbow would be awesome. Not much help but either way it will look terrific.

I like the way you have it now by type, but have each type in the same color wave. You could use the color wheel as a guide.

I would keep the yarn wall as is. 🌈 A rainbow would be nice, but like you said where would tan go? Happy birthday to your 7 year old son. Have a great party! 🎈🎁
