Here is a video on how you can use the Fifine K025 dynamic microphone as a wireless handheld microphone for a smartphone or camera. In this video I show how to connect the K025 to a DSLR camera as well as an iPhone or other smartphone. Below are the links to all of the products needed to do this.

Glad I could help! Just a heads up, I removed the TRRS adapter link from the description, because I found out that the amazon seller was sending out a different cable than what was described, and I haven't been able to find another one. So if you could find one of those, you are set!

I got a similar mic that’s all usb c and comes with rechargeable batteries for convenience. Only found 2 minor issues setting it up with my Panasonic S5. One is that the signal came in hot, even at the lowest gain you can still peak depending on the distance from your mouth. Activating the limiter prevents it from sounding distorted but really compresses the audio. Second minor thing is that it records to only one channel. Easily fixed in post but slightly annoying when you want to also monitor the audio. For the price,convenience and sound quality when the mic is placed correctly, I can’t complain 👍

The microphone connects to my iphone as far as the lights turning on properly. However, when I look back at my video, you can not hear the microphone sound. Any suggestions?

Hi just to double check, did you unplug everything when trying to listen to your video. I made the mistake before where I left the lightning cable plugged into my iphone and tried listening to my video and you can't hear the video while the lightning cable is plugged in

Hey could you record audio with this setup by using a phones audio recorder app so you could record just the audio without having to record a video AND audio?

Im assuming it’s the same thing. Because the microphone is connected , any application that needs a microphone would automatically use what’s plugged in. So if you’re in the voice memos app and go to record ab audio with the microphone plugged into your phone it should just use the audio from the microphone

Are you sure that this model can be connected to a smartphone? In our stores, sellers write that the connection is via UHF radio channel, which smartphones do not support. I ordered a model, tried to connect it, too, it did not work to record the sound from the microphone to the smartphone!

For the iPhone 6 I believe you will need the TRRS adapter

@@TobiasHolenstein I tried. It’s strange how this works. When I plug an p10 cable coming from headphones out of my Scarlett works. If it’s coming out from an acoustic guitar doesnt work. Didn’t work with the mic neither. I am using a TRRS cable. I used a xlr to P2 (trs) and worked, but not always. Sometimes even plugged in, it would use de iPhones mic. Looking like an iPhone bug

I think what you may want is a digital audio recorder. There are a couple popular brands that I've seen, like Tascam or Zoom

Unfortunately from what I've see, I don't think there is a way to attach a mic to the Canon t7 without making some modifications. I found this video of a guy who does it, but it doesn't look easy ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qp6kB85WlfA.html Personally if I had the canon t7 I would record my audio to a separate device and then sync it with the video in editing.

I got my mic, receiver, and TSSR adapter... But I am not able to get my android to pic up mic sound. The phone is still using its' on mic even when I am plugged in with receiver/setup. Is there a trick to fix this?

Hi Henry, sorry to hear that you're having this problem! Have you tried making sure that your phone battery is at 100%? I have had issues in the past where if my iPhone battery gets too low, sometimes my phone will revert back to the built in microphone

@@TobiasHolenstein I have the doggle that goes to 3 ring and doggle that goes to 2 ing. i also have adapters to make a 3 go to 2... and a 2 go to 3... i also have a splitter that seperate headphone and mic. All the combos have not worked....... My cousin came over with a 4k camera and it worked perfectly. (ha ha) hate to be forced to buy a dedicated camera

Hello, I recently tried this. I bought all the products and every time I try to record myself using my camera app, it registers in my phone as headphones and not a microphone. It just goes silent, I can’t hear any audio until I unplug it. Then when I hear the audio back it’s not from the microphone, it’s from my phone. Do you have any tips?

Hm I'm not sure why that might be happening, but the first thing that I would think of is the cable. Are you using the TRRS adapter? the one with the 3 black rings on the metal tip?

Saw a lot of people in the comments have the same problem as me. The phone does not pickup the mic audio. Although it does work on an amp. Has anyone figured this out yet ?

Hi, just to double check, with your phone, are you using the 1/4" to 1/8" TRRS adapter? Because if it is a TRS adapter, it won't work. The TRRS adapter will have the 3 rings on the 1/8" tip, while the TRS cable will only have 2 rings

Hey 🙋‍♀️ I got this to work with my camera. But I'm seeing it come in on the left channel audio only on the camera. Could there be a stereo/mono conflict? I also tried the TRRS with my android phone and am not having luck 😰 Any suggestions?

Hi for the camera you are using the TRS cable right? It sounds like some kind of stereo issue. If you want to use the footage you recorded, I think there might be a way you can change that left stereo audio into a mono channel in editing. As for the android phone, I'm not sure why it's not working. Did you get the cable from the link in this video? A few people have told me they had issues with it. I'm thinking maybe the cables aren't good unfortunately. I'm going to have to change that link

@@TobiasHolenstein yes, I did use the TRS cable for the camera. I will be playing with DaVinci resolve to see if I can change sound. I did use the cables on your link. I can return the TRRS cable. If you find another I can order for it to work with my android cellphone, let me know. Thanks.

@@sandstorme1363 So I was just going through the reviews on the Amazon page for the TRRS adapter and someone wrote that the amazon page mislabled the cable as a TRS to TRRS adapter and apparently it is a TRRS to TRRS so that's why it's not working 😥 If you can still return that cable to amazon that would be great. Unfortunately it looks like this amazon seller is misrepresenting the product they are selling

Hey! I got everything in this video. I have an iPhone 12. Everything says the microphone and speakers r connected. When I go to record on my phone the mic doesn’t work. I’ve tried doing new batteries and I’m sure the batteries are in the right spot. What do I do?

Hi, just to double check, did you unplug everything from the iphone when you were trying to listen to your audio? Because you won't be able to hear the audio if there is anything plugged into the lightning port. If you still can't hear the audio, is there another device you can test the mic on to make sure that it is working?

@@TobiasHolenstein yes I unplugged it after I recorded it and it there is no audio. I tried it on 2 of my friends phones and it was the same result. I followed the steps and it didn’t work, maybe I have a faulty unit?

This mic DOES NOT WORK. It literally says on the instruction manual that it does not pair with iPhones or cameras and even after spending the money for the adapters it doesn’t work. THIS IS A SCAM

Hi are you sure you are using the correct cable for your phone? the TRRS cable? not the TRS cable? It does not pair with your phone. It pairs with the receiver, you plug the receiver into your phone
