First of all I will verify if this device can communicate with the MODBUS protocol (They usually do, since this is an open source protocol). with no obstructions using this antenna I was able to connect at 200 feet. others direct or parabolic antennas can make the connection at a greater distance, but this antennas need to be fixed to solid structure.
