If you’re using WiFi on your phone to connect to the head unit, how are you able to stream RU-vid? Wont the WiFi override the mobile data signal?

can you mirror link a phone to an after market radio and have the radio feed a Overhead Monitor ? Or would it just be better to get a display that takes sd cards and put movies on it. ( Better as in cheaper) I'm wanting to use Disney plus app so my daughter can watch on long drives.

Hey James, how about watching apple music videos? I know they're also "copy written" stuff but you didn't try those as another example. If you know how to watch apple music videos from the "Music" app (with a current subscription to Apple Music) in the car's radio (don't care if has to be done by connecting the iPhone 6s to any specific car's radio through RCA, USB or HDMI cords), please let me know or post it. Very helpful. I have a Pioneer 4200NEX, installing this week. Chose it based on the comparison you did between the 8200 & 4200, thanks by the way. Anyway my Android phone, like your LG, does not support MHL so I was anxiously waiting for this video. If you find anything that will work for Andoid & Pioneer please post. What can you do if you don't have an HDMI in your radio - I do have one in the far back seating of my 2014 Town and Country but it would be weird to drag a cord all the way up to the radio in the front.

To use Android Auto you need a stereo that has Android Auto. It's not an app and there's no work around.

Lol did you watch the video? The phone is wirelessly connected to the radio and monitor. There is absolutely no cable connecting the phone to anything. It's a WIRELESS WIFI connection

Do I need any of the stuff from the description from that video? I think there was a Bueler RCA thing that's on back order , and Nippon America BL-HD- MIMAD Micro USBto HDMI MHL adapter . All these wires got the inside of my head feeling like whats behind my TV.
