I Read that you can't add this 2020 Eonon GA9449 Stereo to a 2004 Range Rover L322 Hse but i decided to try...plus everywhere on you tube it doesn't show you how to actually connect the wires...so here it is part 1 of 2. Good luck if you try this on your own range rover and keep in mind Do This at your own risk...i am not a professional !!! Great video. What did you do with the OEM wires from the old head unit. One plug is blue and one is white. Thx

i just shoved them behind the head unit...its just laying there. hope this helps

Thank you so much for posting this!…it made installing an EONON in my 2003 Range Rover so much easier….I hooked up the same radio antenna connection you did but it does not pick up stations very well….not nearly as well as with the factory unit….any suggestions? I also used your other video to get the CarPlay working…many thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Maybe look for another connection that looks like the same type cable if there isn’t one then sorry not sure why

Dude! Your RR videos are so helpful! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your 2004 looks mint. Super impressed with the paint and upgrades. Coming from the Discovery II and P38 world I just bought my 4th Rover, a 2003 Range HSE (137K mi all serviced at LR dealership) and looking forward to upgrades and learning the BMW motor. I do all my repairs minus machine work & transmission rebuilds. I really appreciate your in-depth explanations and helpful tips. Rover on good dude.

Thanks to you I Purchased the GA9449 for my 2004 l322 and a technician installed it today it took him a few hours still haven't seen it cause it's still at his shop but the pictures look gr8.

i hope you guys all bought the harness that goes with this radio for your canbus so you can have every function including your steering wheel controls lmao you need the A0577 or newer cable haness to work this unit or any eonon radio model

You still have to plug in to use CarPlay I’m thinking of buying that unit called magic box to see if it will work but it’s kind of pricey…

Hey mate, I have plugged everything in but the sound is really quiet and poor quality, it sounds like the amp isnt powering up. I have a 2004 Vogue without the harmon/kardon pack.

I would recheck all your connections unplug then replug all connectors. Then also check the amp fuse … sounds like the amp isn’t turning on… while playing music unplug the connector to the amp and see if that makes a difference… good luck 🤞

Hi, 3weeks I installed the stereo with my mechanic and thanks to your videos and and your comments it helped us a lot. But now I'm facing an issue with the sound. It came randomly. Sometimes it's low or no sounds at all. I have to restart maybe 10 times. Sometimes the sound come when arrive to my destination and stop the car. But when it's working well the sound is great! Eonon customer service sent me an update but nothing much, they seem to have no solution. Any idea of how to fix it?

I think it’s your stereo or amp. Sounds like when it gets hot it’s shutting off I would start with the amp to see if it’s hot when the sound cuts out

@@ThomasStudios17 many people in Facebook groups told me that I need buy a resler i-bus cause the DSP Amp doesn't receive enough signal. What do you think about this?

I’m not familiar with it mine works perfect .. Maybe see if you can replace the stereo I will contact oenon And see if they will work with you

Do you have to remove the spare tire cover then just take the bolts off and the panel comes right out

I set my camera inside the back window. Screwed it onto the plastic at the top then wired it to the reverse light kind of a pain to run it along the head liner but got it to work with no issues except when the back window gets dirty

Cuz my head unit didn't come with one. Have you ever disconnected the canbus decoder and what functions are missing if u did?

Mine came with one it controls the volume on the steering wheel and the music switch buttons. Pretty much controls the steering wheel buttons

@@ThomasStudios17 thax for the reply. I ended up ordering one on aliexpress today hahahaha was only 30$ so no biggy If I don't have the canbus yet should I still install the head unit? I just ran my cables this afternoon but haven't connected anything in the rear or dash it just dangling by my hood latch pull atm I can live without steering wheel button for a few weeks and plug it in once it arrives
