The Challenge - Finding the cleanest mic position for this scratchy Doctors Uniform & removing any unwanted noise created by the accessories.
In this clip we also look at ways to reduce Microphone Cable Noise, the difference between two different mic positions when stuck directly to the shirt vs an alternative position when the mic is stuck to the skin. We also show how a very small amount of sticky tape can be used to silence accessories.
The microphone we are using is a DPA 4060. Other accessories used include a Beige URSA MiniMount for the 4060 , SuperTape by True Tape for sticking the accessories together & 3M Durapore Tape for sticking down the cable.
We recommend wearing Headphones to clearly hear the audio from the radio mic. We fade between this radio mic and the mic worn by Simon Bysshe from URSA Straps who is presenting the video.
