Wiring Up a String Vest | URSA Tips & Tricks 

The String Vest! It’s tricky to hide even a small microphone under this costume!
A lot of small pieces of tape were required to delicately fix it in place at certain points without making too much of an impression on the fabric.

The mic we used was a @dpa_microphones 6060 with a small piece of White URSA Tape sticking down the mic and some small pieces of 3M Durapore to stick down the cable along the seams - over the shoulder & down the back.
The rig worked well but picked up some chest hair noise in its first central position so it was adjusted to the side for an overall cleaner position.
